Gambit-2, the secondary Dota 2 team of the esports organization, AS Monaco Gambit (formerly Gambit Esports), will undergo roster changes after the conclusion of the CIS 2021 DPC Season 1: Lower Division. According to a report by Cybersport.Metaratings.ru, Gambit-2 will be retaining only two of the five players from the previous roster - midlaner, Artem "Lorenof" Melnick and position five support player, Albert "eine" Garaev. Ukrainian Carry player, Nikita "Daxak" Kuzmin will be returning to the Gambit Esports organization. Popular CIS offlaner, Pavel "9pasha" Khvastunov and support player, Danil "illusion" Grzhevka, will be the final two players of the squad, according to the report.

The news regarding the CIS team’s roster change comes after they finished in fourth place with four wins and three losses in the CIS 2021 DPC Season 1: Lower Division.
Gambit-2’s rumored new roster:
Daxak will be replacing xanni, who had joined the team only at the beginning of this DPC season. If 9pasha and illusion join, they will be replacing Blizzy and XSvamp1Re. While Blizzy, similar to xanni, joined the team ahead of the first season of DPC 2021, XSvamp1Re had been a staple player as he had been playing for the squad since Sept 2019.
Though both of Gambit’s teams are competing in the CIS DPC League and are aiming for a spot in TI10, only one can play at the TI10 regardless of how they perform in the DPC. This is because Valve’s rules prevent two rosters from the same organization from qualifying for The International. These rules were embedded in the DPC system before the 2018-19 DPC and have been in place since then.
