Team Spirit will be looking to defend its title at Singapore this year as the team will be going to The International 2022 (TI11) as a heavy contender for the title.
However, before the team’s trip to its bootcamp in Malaysia, the team recorded a series of videos regarding the players on Youtube at a vineyard. The first video featured Illya "Yatoro" Mulyarchuk.
The video started with Yatoro talking about his vacation after the PGL Arlington Major, which his team won. He revealed that he stayed in Serbia during the team’s short holiday mainly to recuperate.
"I was living with Collapse at the bootcamp at the time, DKLana woke me up and told us to go take the test. She asked if I had checked the news, I was confused. She said the war had broken out.”
He replied by saying that after doing the COVID-19 test, he immediately texted his family after being worried about their safety. He also revealed that he felt devastated when the news broke out.
He also revealed that he had a hard time getting along with Alexander "TORONTOTOKYO" Khertek, because of his personality. However, he jokingly noted that he would not want to live with him.
As of now, Team Spirit have safely arrived in Malaysia for its boot camp before the TI11 Group Stages which will begin on October 15th.
