After the success of the first Valorant LAN tournament to take place in India, Skyesports Souvenir Mumbai 2022, the organizers have announced one of the most important regional tournaments of the 2022 competitive season, Skyesports Champions Series (SCS).
This tournament is officially supported by Riot Games and is part of the ongoing VCT (Valorant Champions Tour) 2022 Stage 2 with some of the best teams from across South Asia trying to qualify for the VCT 2022: APAC (Asia Pacific) Stage 2 Challengers.
A total of 12 Valorant teams are set to compete in this tournament from 19th May to 5th June, featuring two available APAC Challengers slots and a total prize pool of $30,000 USD (INR 23,29,575).

Following the success of the first-ever offline Valorant tournament to take place in the country, Skyesports has announced the Skyesports Champions Series which will be acting as the South Asian regional qualifiers for the VCT 2022: APAC Stage 2 Challengers.
The tournament which is split into two stages will be played as both an online and offline event, with teams from eight different countries competing in it - India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Nepal, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, Maldives, and Bangladesh.
12 Valorant teams are set to compete in the Skyesports Champions Series, eight of them being direct invites based on the VCC Stage 1 results and four other teams qualifying through various open qualifiers - India and RoSA (Rest of South Asia).

Skyesports Champions Series is scheduled to take place from 19th May to 5th June in two different phases, group stage which will be taking place online followed by playoffs which will be hosted on LAN in Chennai, India.
The first phase of the tournament will witness both the groups following a round-robin format where each match will be a BO3 series and the top three teams from each group will be moving ahead to the playoffs.
These six teams will clash in a LAN setup in Chennai, following a double-elimination format where all matches will be a BO3 series except for the grand final which will be a BO5 faceoff.
Both the grand finalists will receive a slot in the upcoming VCT 2022: APAC Stage 2 Challengers for a chance to qualify for the VCT 2022: Stage 2 Masters - Copenhagen, along with a lion's share of the total prize pool.
