The last chance qualifier for The International 2022 (TI11) will begin soon, giving the teams participating a final chance to play at the biggest Dota 2 event of the year. The last chance qualifier (LCQ) will take place from 8th-12th Oct and features the second and third place teams from the six regional qualifiers that were held from August-September. After splitting these 12 teams into two groups of six each followed by a playoffs format, two top teams will qualify to play at TI11. Where to watch and broadcast talent
There will be multiple series running simultaneously over the first four days of of the qualifier, with only one series running at a time on the final day.
The broadcast talent of the event has not yet been revealed.
This year's TI unique last chance qualifier will take place in Singapore in a LAN setting. In this way, the two teams that qualify will have an easier transition to the group stage of TI11, which begins on 15th Oct. As a result of the two teams from the qualifier, TI will feature a total of 20 teams in 2022. The defending champions will be Team Spirit. The prize pool for TI11 is increasing on a regular basis and has surpassed the $12 million milestone at the time of writing.
