The Lima Major 2023 is the first Dota 2 Major to be held on South American (SA) soil, and it also kicks off interregional play in the Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) 2023. Lima, Peru, will host the event with the top 18 teams from around the world competing for a share of the $500,000 USD prize pool and 1,900 DPC points. With the pandemic issues having subsided lately and Peru not being the toughest country for visas, it is likely that most of the teams will be able to come to Lima at full strength.
