Tour 1 of the Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) 2021-22 may have wrapped up, but Epic Esports Events has a new tournament running for the teams and Dota 2 fans: the seventh edition of the Dota 2 Champions League. The Dota 2 Champions League, which began on 24th Jan, runs until the middle of February and features some of the best teams from Eastern and Western Europe’s tier 2 circuit. The event which features a prize pool of $50,000 USD shall see 18 teams in action at the event. A total of 13 teams were invited directly to the group stage, whereas four teams were invited directly to the playoffs. One team qualified via the open qualifier.

The top two teams in each group move to the upper bracket playoffs
The third and fourth place teams in each group move to the lower bracket playoffs
The fifth, sixth, and seventh place teams are eliminated

Broadcast information
Beyond the Summit will broadcast all the series of the Dota 2 Champions League S7 on its second Twitch channel. At the time of writing this article, the commentators casting these games are Rikumikko "T-Panda" Kangasmäki, Robb "Robnroll" Blakeman, and Lachlan "Ares" Williams.
The Dota 2 Champions League is now in its seventh season. Epic Esports Events previously organized the events with the support of the Russian Esports Federation and for this season Winline has come on board as a sponsor. In the last season, which was held from December 2021 to January 2022, Team Tickles defeated NAVI to win the grand final.
