The top Chinese teams in the Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) 2021-22 Tour 2: Division 1, which will not be traveling to the Stockholm Major 2022, will compete in an online Regional Final. On 6th May and continuing for three days until 8th May, the top seeds in Division 1 of Tour 2, namely PSG.LGD, Team Aster, Royal Never Give Up, and Xtreme Gaming will compete for the $100,000 USD prize pool and 750 DPC points. Each of the top four teams will receive a portion of the $100,000 prize pool based on their final position, but only the top two teams will receive a share of the 750 DPC points.

It was announced on April 29th that the Chinese region is unable to send teams for the second Major of the DPC 2021-22 in Stockholm, Sweden. This was probably due to the severe lockdown restrictions in Shanghai in the wake of the virus outbreak.
However, as we move ahead with the Regional Final, it will be interesting to see if PSG.LGD's big wall can be overcome. Although it lost a series to Team Aster during the regular league, the team has not been knocked off its top spot in the DPC 2021-22. Team Aster and Xtreme Gaming are both looking like fierce competitors at this moment as they showed great form during the league. It is unclear how Royal Never Give Up, which finished as the fourth team in the league, will perform after bringing two new players onboard - Daniel "Ghost" Chan Kok Hong and Hu "kaka" Liangzhi.
