OG, Team Nigma, Team Liquid, Team Secret and Brame are all neck-and-neck in the race to the second Major in the EU 2021 DPC Season 2: Upper Division. This is because only three more series remain to be played in the league with three Major spots yet to be determined. Currently, Liquid and Team Nigma are the leaders among these five teams as they sit on the second spot followed by OG, Brame and Team Secret at the fourth place. On the other hand, Alliance has already been guaranteed a slot while Hellbear Smashers and Tundra Esports no longer stand a chance to qualify for the next Major.
Here is a look at how OG, Team Nigma, Team Liquid, Team Secret and Brame can claim those substantial Major slots.

Only three more series remain to be played in the EU 2021 DPC Season 2: Upper Division - Team Secret vs Brame and Team Nigma vs Tundra Esports on May 19, followed by OG vs Team Liquid on May 20.
There is a possibility of a three-way or a four-way tiebreaker in the EU 2021 DPC Season 2: Upper Division.
Three-Way tiebreaker
This will result in a three-way tiebreaker among OG, Team Liquid and the winner of Brame vs Team Secret for the remaining two spots as Nigma will be qualified.
Four-Way tiebreaker
This will result in a four-way tiebreaker among OG, Team Liquid, Team Nigma and the winner of Brame vs Team Secret for the remaining three slots.
OG is currently positioned at the number three spot with three wins and two losses. The two-time TI champions have looked spectacular in some of their matches, particularly the one against Team Secret. However, their performances have looked shaky in some series like the one against Tundra Esports.
To qualify for the second Major, OG needs any one of the following scenarios to take place:
Team Nigma faltered in a couple of initial series in the EU 2021 DPC Season 2: Upper Division but have been looking improved and stable lately.
To qualify for the second Major, Team Nigma needs any one of the following to happen:
Team Liquid has seemingly not dwindled in form or momentum after the temporary exit of Boxi from the squad. They have adjusted well to SumaiL’s addition and the forced role swap for qojqva.
To qualify for the second Major, Team Liquid needs any one of the following:
Offlaner, Ludwig "zai" Wåhlberg, had stated that he and YapzOr are not always giving their best. Combined with the fact that Team Secret has almost guaranteed a TI10 slot, the team may not be trying their best in the ongoing EU league. Coming from the Lower Division, Brame has the potential to establish an amazing underdogs story and deny two of the top teams a spot in the Major.
To qualify for the second Major, Brame needs any one of the following:
Team Liquid and Team Nigma have the highest chances of qualifying as wins in their respective series mean that they are through to the Major. Even if they lose, Nigma has a slight edge as they can still get through but both teams are still guaranteed tiebreakers. Brame and Team Secret have a similar chance of qualifying since they are not only tied in wins and losses but also face each other in their last series. The team that wins is guaranteed tiebreakers. OG has the least chances out of all the five teams since they can only get through via the tiebreakers provided they win their series.
Secret has the upper hand in the matchup against Brame while Team Nigma will be the favorites against Tundra Esports. Team Liquid vs OG is expected to be the most competitive series and is also scheduled last.
The second Major, titled “WePlay AniMajor” is scheduled from June 2-13, 2021.
