The PGL Major Stockholm 2021 is going to witness a lot players who will be competing in their very first Major. Nerve levels will be quite high as the action kicks off later today on 26th October with the New Challengers Stage.
Finally, after 779 days a CS:GO Major is taking place once again and the number of returning players seems to have taken a dip, as 60 debutants are ready to showcase their talent in an effort to win the Major in their very first attempt.
It has been a long wait to witness a Major play out once again, that too in front of a live Swedish audience as the Major once again returns to its roots. This will be the first time that a Major takes place in Stockholm, at the same venue which was initially supposed to host The International 10, Avicii Arena.

While a few teams have young players that are stepping out to play their first Major, there are some complete lineups that have fought together through the two rough RMR (Regional Major Rankings) seasons to qualify for PGL Major Stockholm 2021.
Teams like Movistar Riders, paiN Gaming, Sharks Esports, Copenhagen Flames, along with a majority roster (four players) of Gambit Esports, ENCE, Heroic, comprise nearly 53% of all the debutants at the Major. It will be exciting to see if these first-timers, who have had a ton of experience playing online, can perform to their fullest potential in a LAN environment.
