With over 420,000 active players in the last month, becoming one of the twelve players to reach the 13K MMR milestone is no joke.

On 29th March 2024, BetBoom Team’s Danil "gpk" Skutin became one of the twelve players in Dota 2 history to reach the 13K MMR milestone. A feat that was first achieved by Southeast Asia’s Nuengnara "23" Teeramahanon back in December 2022.

gpk Records New Achievement in Dota 2: Becomes Twelfth Player to Reach 13K MMR

Following this achievement, gpk took to Telegram and shared a screenshot of his MMR with his fans and followers to celebrate this milestone. Due to this, gpk is now ranked seventh in the Dota 2 European Leaderboard.

Notably, gpk took almost three years to climb from 12K to 13K MMR, displaying the difficulty of this feat.

BetBoom Team’s gpk recently took to Telegram and announced that he had hit the 13K MMR milestone after almost three years of being in the 12K MMR bracket. He shared a screenshot of his MMR page and match history and candidly captioned it “MMR FOR TRASH.

Notably, this new achievement secured by gpk has propelled him up in the Dota 2 European leaderboards and he currently sits at rank seven, the leaderboard pretty obviously being led by Entity’s Alimzhan "watson" Islambekov.

gpk mmr

Gpk currently has over 89.5% win rate in the last eight days of gameplay. However, despite Valve taking strict action against smurfing, gpk seems to be actively smurfing according to Dota2protracker.

His third smurf account has been active with over 22 games played in the last eight days. This may be to preserve the MMR integrity of his main account as a loss could mean that his main account will fall back into the 12K MMR range.

On another note, unlike other games Dota 2 has no seasonal MMR reset, instead, it has an MMR reset button that players can access through the account settings in-game once every 365 days.

Due to the lack of a forced seasonal MMR reset, it is theoretically possible that a 14K MMR player may emerge soon and Entity’s watson seems to be the top contender for the achievement as he achieved 13.5K MMR on 23rd March 2024.

Ceb Reveals Details About Taiga's 322 Investigation and How OG Was Affectedhttps://afkgaming.com/dota2/news/ceb-reveals-details-about-taigas-322-investigation-and-how-og-was-affectedhttps://afkgaming.com/dota2/news/ceb-reveals-details-about-taigas-322-investigation-and-how-og-was-affected#comments88f5df3a-a24e-42ff-9ee5-29bff9ffac6dFri, 29 Mar 2024 17:20:02 +05302024-03-29T17:20:02.071+05:30Dorjee Palzang/api/author/1831174OG,Ceb,Dota 2,Taiga,GamblingNewsSébastien "Ceb" Debs faced an extremely tough time along with the rest of the players on OG back when they found out about Tommy "Taiga" Le's gambling addiction which resulted in an internal investigation involving tournament organizers and Valve.

During a recent interview with Morf, who is a Dota 2 content creator from Ukraine, Ceb spoke on a range of topics but the one that caught everyone's attention was the details he provided about Taiga's gambling addiction, the panic that ensued after this revelation, and the internal investigation ran by the organization to confirm wether the player was involved in any acts of 322 or not.

Ceb Talks About Taiga’s 322 Investigation in Detail

According to Ceb, OG decided to move Taiga to the inactive roster, and an internal investigation was launched to ensure that Taiga was not involved in any ‘322’ activities. Ceb also revealed that after all of this came to light, OG was left in shambles and damaged the team's reputation.

On 28th March 2024, Thursday, OG’s team captain and Taiga’s former teammate, Ceb, sat down for an interview with Dota 2 content creator, Morf.

Curious to know more about the drama that ensued last year with Taiga and OG, Morf asked Ceb what happened behind the scenes and if Taiga was actually associated with some ‘322’ activities as rumors suggested.

Getting to the bottom of it, Ceb revealed that OG found out about Taiga’s gambling addiction themselves which naturally got the team worried.

The first thought that crossed their mind was what if Taiga was throwing games intentionally to ensure a sure-shot win by gambling against his team.

So at OG we instantly did an internal investigation, talked to everyone - players, coach, etc. to make sure that it was only him,” said Ceb.

Ceb further disclosed that the investigation was done on Taiga without him knowing about it which caused a lot of problems for the team because OG was participating in tournaments.

While the investigation was going on, OG informed tournament organizers and Valve about this matter and hired professional investigators to dig deep.

We take it super seriously, I’m a competitor, I was not panicking but I was very worried. We did everything, I think we could think of. We suspended him, we put him aside - waiting for people to talk back to us and everything came back to ‘he did nothing with Dota,” added Ceb.

However, the consequence of the entire incident was that OG was left with shreds of doubt, suspicion, and damage to its reputation. Ultimately due to Taiga’s distressed mental state and the new revelation, OG decided to let him go and the team focused on recovering from this incident.

It allows players to have an immersive experience of the tabletop board game completely through their device. The season of Monopoly Go Origins was in full-swing where we celebrated three full months of interesting and entertaining in-game events and tournaments.

Now, Scopely is celebrating the launch of its new sticker album in Monopoly Go called Making Music. To commemorate the start of this new album, it has introduced a new limited-time solo event called Road to Stardom.

Here's all you need to know about Road to Stardom and its milestones and rewards.

Monopoly Go Road to Stardom Rewards & Milestones

The Road to Stardom event in Monopoly Go began on 28th March at 3 PM ET and will come to a close on 30th March, giving players two full days to reap rewards. You should note that there are 16,725 dice rolls in total available as rewards spread across the 41 milestone levels in the event.

Here's the full list of the rewards and milestones for the Road to Stardom event:

How To Score Points In Monopoly Go Road To Stardom Event

For players to score points in the ongoing Road To Stardom Monopoly Go event, they must land only on three tiles and they are the Chance, Community Chest, or Railroad tiles. The points awarded for each tile are as follows:

  • Chance: 2 points

  • Community Chest: 3 points

  • Railroad: 5 points

It is to be noted that of the three tiles, the Railroad one seems to be most efficient tile to score points as it is possible to score tons of points from the Shutdown and Bank Heist. This will come across as a relief to This will be a big relief to those who remember grinding for utility and tax tiles in Monopoly Origins.

Here are some useful tips to keep in mind to do well in the event:

  • Save your highest multipliers for locations on the board that you know will lead you to a points/tokens tile.

  • Pick your tasks and rewards wisely. When you notice that the reward does not match or is not worthy of the difficult task in hand, quit and wait for the next event in the game; there are plenty in Monopoly Go.

  • You can keep an eye out for other ways in which you can earn more dice to help with this event. Tournaments and landmarks may come in handy.

  • Lastly, use your dice rolls efficiently.

In 2019, Epic Games released the latest generation of Star Wars Skins in Fortnite, featuring Finn, Rey, and Sith Troopers, which were seen in The Force Awakens. However, it didn’t stop there as Epic Games continued to release more collaborations with Star Wars. New leaks suggest that Epic Games will not miss out on this year’s May 4th celebration of Star Wars Day either, as we’re going to see the return of The Mandalorian to Fortnite and Rocket League.

The Mandalorian Is Coming Back to Fortnite and Rocket League

The iconic Star Wars character seems to be paying another visit to ‘Epic Games Universe.’ According to reliable leaker @SamLeakks, a brand-new Mandalorian vehicle is coming to both Fortnite and Rocket League. However, Rocket League players will experience more than just the presence of the bounty hunter and his vehicle.

The Rocket League x Mandalorian crossover will include a small event as well as a shop bundle with decals. Rocket League’s crossover content is most likely to resemble Mandalorian Mayhem from last February. The crossover brought the G-Force Frenzy time-limited mode, themed challenges, and other Star Wars content to the game. However, which vehicle will get the dedicated skin to the brave bounty hunter in Fortnite and Rocket League is still unknown. Epic Games hasn’t revealed any official information about the upcoming Mandalorian crossover with the Epic Games universe.

When Is the Mandalorian Event Coming to Fortnite and Rocket League?

Leaks claim that the upcoming Mandalorian crossover will be part of another Star Wars event. However, it’s not coming soon. It will take over a month as the Star Wars event is set for 4th May 2024, a day dedicated to celebrating the greatness of the Star Wars franchise. With plenty of new vehicle skins, events, and rewards, the upcoming crossover surely sounds fun. However, taking all this information with a grain of salt is crucial, as Epic Games hasn’t officially confirmed anything.

Although EA announced the game’s development through the Behind The Sims Summit event in October 2022, there have been no other official updates on its progress since then.

However, several leaks have surfaced over the years, a major one involving a pre-release build of the game. One Dataminer on Reddit has obtained an overview of the map, showcasing possible open-world elements, similar to The Sims 3. Here’s everything you need to know!

Project Rene’s Playtest Build Reveals That the Map Is Reportedly Based in Paris

According to the Dataminer on Reddit, the leaked Playtest build of the game contains the full map of Project Rene, supposedly based on the city of Paris, as the user found IRL photo references within the game files. They also shared the screenshots of the map overview, showcasing some of the playable areas where your sims could roam around.

For those unaware, we already know that Sims 5 or Project Rene will be a multiplayer co-op, free-to-play title, available on all major platforms such as PC, Consoles, and Mobile. EA also shared information regarding overhauls to building and pathing, showcasing features like co-op building, better maneuvering, etc. However, none of the previous leaks suggested that the game would showcase open-world elements, which has raised concern among fans about its performance across multiple devices.

The Dataminer shared further information as to why they think the game could feature an open-world environment. They claim that the game utilizes technologies like asset streaming and LODs to offer solid performance even on mobile. They mentioned that even the leaked build they possess runs the game at around 30 FPS on their Galaxy S9 smartphone.

Furthermore, they also stated that the game does not have any UI icons for “travel” in its files and it does not have any other string references indicating “traveling” to other locations. This could possibly mean that sims could seamlessly move around the game world, without having to go through loading screens for every area.

While its open-world potential seems exciting, keep in mind that the leaked build of the game is over a year old and the developers could have made significant changes to the current version of Project Rene. LoLdle Answer for 29 March: "A bird's eye view is the best advantage."https://afkgaming.com/esports/guide/loldle-answer-for-21-december-the-eyes-never-liehttps://afkgaming.com/esports/guide/loldle-answer-for-21-december-the-eyes-never-lie#comments40bcd498-955c-4c82-9151-288f59eef2c4Wed, 21 Dec 2022 21:16:40 +05302024-03-29T14:13:54.016+05:30Sadakshi Kalyan Ramun/api/author/1633627League of Legends,Riot Games,Wordle,LoLdleGuideWeb-based word guessing game Wordle, created by software engineer Josh Wardle, took the world by storm and was the most talked-about game in the early part of 2022. Since its publication, numerous people on the internet spanning continents have been sharing and celebrating their every day wins within the game. Each day, a five-letter word is chosen and the players have to guess the word correctly within six tries. Since the game is straightforward and simple to play, many people have been inclined to create similar ones. League of Legends players have their own version of Wordle called the LoLdle. It is one such spin-off game based on Wordle and Riot Games' flagship title League of Legends. LoLdle includes League of Legends champions and their quotes.

There are four game modes in LoLdle and they are as follows:

  • Classic: Guess the champion and every try gives specific properties for clues with green, red, and orange boxes

  • Quotes: Guess with an in-game quote of a champion

  • Ability: Guess with the icon of a spell

  • Splash: Guess the skin with a cropped section of a splash art

Though LoLdle has a low entry barrier, the puzzles are sometimes tough and they can hit players with uncommon champion quotes, abilities, and some hard-to-recognize art. This article will guide you through the LoLdle Quote of the Day for 29th March: A bird's eye view is the best advantage.

Today’s LoLdle Quote

29th March: A bird's eye view is the best advantage.

On 29th March, the LoLDle quote is, "A bird's eye view is the best advantage." The champion who said this is Quinn.

Ex-Marvel Rivals Artist Claims NetEase Didn’t Pay Him for His Work on the Gamehttps://afkgaming.com/gaming/general/ex-marvel-rivals-artist-claims-netease-didnt-pay-him-for-his-work-on-the-gamehttps://afkgaming.com/gaming/general/ex-marvel-rivals-artist-claims-netease-didnt-pay-him-for-his-work-on-the-game#comments8a21f6cf-3231-49a5-983f-f5b8d790554cFri, 29 Mar 2024 13:24:24 +05302024-03-29T13:24:24.062+05:30Dhruv Bhatnagar/api/author/1828985Marvel,Netease,Marvel Rivals,Marvel Rivals Release Date,Marvel Rivals Developers,Marvel Rivals Alpha Test,Marvels Rivals Beta Release,Marvel Rivals Ex-Artist Not PaidGeneralMarvel has finally revealed the arrival of Marvel Rivals, an Overwatch-like shooter title developed with NetEase Games. The title promises to transform the genre with third-person gameplay, new gameplay mechanics, and a roster of some of the most iconic Marvel characters. From the Avengers to X-Men and even heroes from Spider-Verse, players will be able to assemble their team of superheroes for intense 6v6 battles on maps inspired by Marvel Multiverse. While the game has caught everyone's attention in the gaming landscape, an alleged ex-artist has publicly called out NetEase for directly copying other games and not paying for his work on the title.

Ex-Marvel Rivals Artists Claims He Wasn’t Paid For His Work

While Marvel Rivals indeed looks to be an incredible free-to-play shooter, its development might have been incredibly messy. William Bao, a Character Concept Artist at id Software, talked about his experience with NetEase.

Bao said that he worked for NetEase during the COVID-19 pandemic and claimed that he was never paid for his work. Furthermore, the artist claimed that the game was one of the most directionless projects they've ever been involved in. The artist said that NetEase developers made him change their artwork a lot of times, even asking him to reference fanart directly from ArtStation.

Bao stated that he did the work on the game as part of the "free art test " and didn't legally pursue for his payment as it would have cost "an arm and leg" to get paid for his work.

Due to his experiences, Bao has warned younger artists to not take work where they don't get paid, "Back then I was young and hungry. This goes out to all younger artists in this industry, don't ever do "free" art tests. If you're good enough then you deserve to be payed for your time. Any work you do during these "tests" are company properties and could be used in the end."

Although NetEase has yet to respond to the developer's allegations, the situation sounds alarming and could've been handled better. The game looks like a lot of attention and time was put into it, and we hope the developers and artists are given recognition for their efforts. Marvel Rivals will have an Alpha Test in May 2024, with no release date confirmed so far.

Guide,South Park: Snow Day! On Steam Deck,South Park: Snow Day! Best Settings for Steam Deck,South Park: Snow Day! 60 FPS on Steam DeckGeneralSouth Park: Snow Day! Charts a new course for the franchise by introducing third-person hack-and-slash gameplay and emphasizing co-op as one of its core elements. The game has been available on all major platforms like the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.

Considering its availability on Valve’s platform, many gamers are curious about the game’s compatibility with the Steam Deck. We are happy to report that South Park: Snow Day! runs great on the handheld console, thanks to its hardware capabilities and the game’s relatively low system requirements. Here are the best graphical presets for an immersive gameplay experience on the Deck.

Best Settings for South Park: Snow Day! on the Steam Deck

As mentioned above, South Park: Snow Day! seems to perform great on Valve’s Steam Deck regardless of being marked as “Unknown” in the list of Steam Deck Verified games. We can certainly expect the game to reach the “Playable” or a higher rating soon, as it produces average frame rates of 50-60 FPS even on the “High” preset. Here are the best settings:

General

  • Display Mode: Windowed Fullscreen

  • Resolution: 1280 x 800

  • Resolution Scale: 90

  • Field of View: 90

  • Brightness: (does not affect performance)

Rendering

  • Texture Detail: High

  • Shadow Quality: Medium

  • Volumetric Lighting: Medium

  • Anti-Aliasing Quality: Medium

  • Motion Blur: Off

  • V-Sync: Off

  • Frame Smoothing: Off

The aforementioned settings will ensure that the game runs smoothly, averaging around 60-65 FPS while exploring different areas. Even during intense combat, these presets will make sure that the game does not drop below 50 FPS, prioritizing performance over visual fidelity. If you wish for more consistent frame rates, you can lock the game to run at 60FPS using the Steam Deck’s settings.

However, if you do not mind running the game on sub-40 FPS with dips to 30, you can crank the textures to Ultra and set everything else to the High preset. Additionally, you can also increase your Resolution Scaling to 100% to run the game at a native resolution on the Deck. While this does enhance the graphical quality, the trade-off in frame rates does not justify the minor visual improvements.
