The Indonesian esports organization, Rex Regum Qeon or widely known as RRQ, is looking to recruit Omega Esports’ pro player Duane “Kelra” Pillas to one of its Mobile Legends: Bang Bang teams. This was revealed through a vlog by Omega Esports pro player Billy “Z4pnu” Alfonso. According to Z4pnu, Kelra has been thinking about joining the Indonesian team as he wants to improve as a Mobile Legends esports pro player under a new team. However, Z4pnu thinks that Kelra will first have to learn how to communicate efficiently with RRQ’s members and adjust to the culture of the region before he is able to grow as a pro player in the Indonesian team.

Kelra may be joining the Indonesian Mobile Legends team, RRQ Hoshi soon

Through a vlog posted on 23rd Nov 2021, Z4pnu revealed that one of Omega Esports’ star players, Kelra is being scouted by the Indonesian esports organization RRQ Hoshi. The veteran player expressed his mixed reaction to the news as Kelra never told them anything until the manager of RRQ himself messaged them about the acquisition for Kelra.

“I don’t really mind if you want to join other teams as long as you tell me if you want to transfer so there won’t be any problems,” stated Z4pnu. “At least we wouldn’t be shocked when other managements would message us all of a sudden.”

According to Z4pnu, he still supports the young prodigy for wanting to improve himself as a pro player. But he should ideally probably have a word with Kelra with regards to the pros and cons of joining a team from other regions.

“When you’re in another country, your main problem would be the language, your communication,” stated Z4pnu.

Z4pnu added that Kelra has been considering joining RRQ as he feels that he will learn a lot from the Indonesian team. However, Z4pnu advises that Kelra should decide carefully on whether he wants to join other teams or stay in Omega Esports.

“I said to him (Kelra) that he needs to think about this carefully as his future depends on it,” stated Z4pnu.

Z4pnu believes that it is risky and could potentially damage Kelra’s career as a pro player if he fails to perform well during his stay in RRQ. If the organization decides to bench him due to his subpar performance, the young prodigy would not be able to return back to the Philippines until his contract with the Indonesian team comes to an end.

For now, Kelra is still weighing the odds on whether he will be joining a new team or stay in Omega Esports. Fans will have to keep their eyes peeled for the announcement soon.

It will be interesting to see if Kelra actually chooses to join RRQ or stay with his current team, Omega Esports as the next season of the Mobile Legends Professional League (MPL) draws closer.
