Moonton has partnered with Hatten Edge to launch an MLBB-themed Integrated Esports Hub.
The partnership will yield an esports-themed hotel with certain floors containing MLBB-themed designs.
Hatten Land’s Element X mall in Melaka City, Malaysia will also feature interior designs and outdoor displays themed around MLBB and esports.

A Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) themed esports hub is in the works as Moonton Games has partnered with Hatten Edge, a subsidiary of the property developer Hatten Land. The collaboration shall launch the esports hub in Melaka (also spelled as Malacca), Malaysia (MY), and promote the game through marketing campaigns, esports tournaments, and branding events. A hotel is also planned to be transformed into a five-star esports hotel with some floors designated to house MLBB-themed rooms. This also means that the hotel may provide rooms for pro players when a major tournament takes place like the Mobile Legends Professional League (MPL) Malaysia.

Moonton to hold Mobile Legends-themed Integrated Esports Hub in Malaysia

The official Facebook page of Hatten Land Limited announced that an official MLBB-themed esports hub is in the works at Hatten Land’s Element X mall in Melaka City, Malaysia.

“ElementX will be an innovative, immersive and interactive experience for all gamers, fans and shoppers,” the post captioned.

According to a publicly available document regarding the partnership agreement between Moonton and Hatten Land, the mall will feature interior designs and outdoor displays themed around MLBB and esports.

The agreement also stated that the Hatten Place hotel will be converted into a five-star esports hotel with some floors being transformed into MLBB-themed rooms. These rooms may be used during major events for players to stay in.

MLBB will also be featured and promoted at Arena X, a 1,200-capacity esports arena inside Element X mall as part of the agreement.

“Gaming is becoming the most engaging form of entertainment in the world with Esports gaining more momentum as a spectator sport,” says Dato’ Colin Tan, Hatten Land’s executive chairman and managing director, as quoted by The Edge Singapore.

“Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) has experienced explosive growth globally with Southeast Asia being its key revenue market since its launch in 2016. Catering to the growing popularity of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, the world’s first-of-its-kind MLBB-themed integrated Esports Hub at Element X is conceptualized with an array of experiential interactions and immersive environments as well as multi-dimensional offerings that redefine gaming experiences,” added Tan.

With the massive popularity of MLBB in the Southeast Asia region, it will be interesting to see if Moonton will launch more Integrated Esports Hubs in other regions such as Indonesia and the Philippines.
