One of the most iconic casual game modes in League of Legends: Wild RIft, the All Random All Mid (ARAM), will become a permanent game mode starting on 9th Sept 2021. After months of testing the game, Riot Games is finally ready to deploy the game as a permanent feature in Wild Rift. Wild Rift ARAM is a game mode where players are given a randomly picked champion from their current champion pool and will fight in a one-lane map known as Howling Abyss. Champions and in-game items are tweaked to adjust to the new game mode making it an entirely new experience compared to the regular Summoner’s Rift map.

Wild Rift ARAM game mode to remain a permanent feature in the game

ARAM game mode is popular among League of Legends PC players due to its fast-paced gameplay and its inherent crazy gameplay. This game mode forces players to play with random champions on a map where there is only one lane. Players usually have fun and discover unique item builds in this game mode.

The Wild Rift ARAM has been in its testing phase for quite some time now. The game mode received a ton of balance changes for both items and champions. Sometimes, the new game mode gets taken down for maintenance which takes at least a week before it gets added back in the game. The most recent update being the Wild Rift Patch 2.4b where a lot of champions received a few tweaks to their base stats when played in the ARAM mode.

Riot Games has finally announced that the fan-favorite Wild Rift ARAM mode has finished its testing phase and will now be a permanent feature in the game starting on 9th Sept 2021. However, the game mode may receive a few balance changes in the future if needed.

ARAM Mode Map Preview

With the ARAM game mode finally ending its testing phase, fans may expect to see custom game modes like the seasonal Poro King mode where giant poros will appear on the ARAM mode map during the Christmas season to help each side. However, Riot Games is yet to reveal its plans on releasing custom game modes in Wild Rift so keep this information with a grain of salt.

It will be interesting to see if Riot Games will consider releasing more custom game modes similar to the Wild Rift ARAM mode in its popular mobile MOBA title in the near future.
