Esports Fight Club (EFC) has teamed up with Tencent to announce a PUBG Mobile tournament called Ultimate Warrior Showdown (UWS): PUBG Mobile Asia Invitational. The event is scheduled to take place from 5th to 7th July 2021 and will be featuring a $90,000 total prize pool, witnessing participation from 16 directly invited professional PUBG Mobile teams from across Asia. According to EFC, the competing teams are from 14 different countries and regions including Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines, Mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Cambodia, Nepal, Pakistan, Mongolia, and Bangladesh. UWS: PUBG Mobile Asia Invitational - Complete Details

The 16 team PUBG Mobile tournament will take place from 5th to 7th July, four maps being played each day of the event starting from 08:30 AM (IST) and going on till 03:30 PM (IST). A total of 12 maps will be played across the three days for a total prize pool of $90,000, which will be split between the top 10 teams.

  • Bigetron RA - Indonesia

  • DEMIGODS INCOGNITO - Philippines

  • Eagle Esports - Vietnam

  • The Infinity - Thailand

  • FaZe Clan - Thailand

  • XB Blood Legion - Bangladesh

  • Orange Esports - Cambodia

  • JM Yellow - Cambodia

The $90,000 total prize pool will be divided as follows between the competing teams,

Broadcast

The PUBG Mobile tournament will be streamed in two languages. The English stream will take place on Esports Fight Club's Facebook, and the Chinese language stream will be streamed on Huya.

This is actually the fourth edition of the Ultimate Warriors Showdown tournament, with its inaugural season touted as one of the largest PUBG Mobile tournaments in Asia. A statement from RJ Mark who is the founder and CEO of Esports Fight Club reads as follows,
