TEC BGMI Invitational Season 4: Teams, Schedule, Results, Format, Streams, More

The Esports Club (TEC) has announced an invite-only BGMI (Battlegrounds Mobile India) tournament called TEC BGMI Invitational Season 4 which is scheduled to take place from 6^th to 16^th June. The event will be featuring 32 directly invited teams from across India along with a total prize pool of INR 15,00,000 ($19,275 USD).

This is the fourth iteration of the BGMI tournament with the previous season taking place in March earlier this year. Global Esports (GE) was crowned as the champion last time and has been invited once again in a bid to defend its title.

So far no team has been able to defend its title successfully and it will be interesting to see if GE would be able to achieve this feat or not. It will be facing stiff competition from some of the best teams from across the country, who will be putting their best foot forward in order to secure victory for themselves.

TEC BGMI Invitational Season 4: Complete tournament details

TEC is back with yet another season of one of the most popular mobile esports franchises in the country, the TEC BGMI Invitational. The fourth iteration of this highly competitive third-party tournament will have some interesting storylines along with plenty of high-octane action.

Invited Teams

A total of 32 teams have been directly invited for this tournament from all over the country. These teams have been further divided into four groups of eight teams each for the league stage of the event.

Here are all the BGMI teams that will be competing in this tournament as per their respective groups,

Only 16 teams will make it through to the grand final stage, following the first four match days of the tournament. It will be interesting to see which teams fight hard enough to qualify for the next part of the event.

Schedule and Format

The invite-only tournament will be taking place from 6^th to 16^th June. This is what the current schedule of the TEC BGMI Invitational Season 4 looks like,

• 6^th June - League Stage Day 1, 17:30 IST

• 7^th June - League Stage Day 2, 17:30 IST

• 8^th June - League Stage Day 3, 17:30 IST

• 14^th June - League Stage Day 4, 17:30 IST

• 15^th June - Grand Finals Day 1, 17:30 IST

• 16^th June - Grand Finals Day 2, 17:30 IST

The event being divided between two different stages and competing teams being divided into four groups of eight teams each. Here is how the league stage of the tournament will be played out.

League Stage

• In the league stage, the 32 directly invited teams will be split into four groups of eight teams each, taking on each other following a round-robin format across four match days scheduled to take place from 6^th to 14^th June.

• The first two match days will witness four maps being played on each day, while the remaining two match days will be hosting five maps each. This will result in a cumulative total of 18 matches being played across the entire league stage.

• This means that each group will be playing nine matches in total across the four days of the league stage.

Grand Finals

• Based on the performance of all teams at the end of the league stage, the top 16 teams will qualify ahead to the grand finals which are scheduled to take place from 15^th to 16^th June.

• Here, each day will witness five matches being played, resulting in a total of 10 matches across the two days, and the team with the highest cumulative points will be crowned as the champion of TEC BGMI Invitational Season 4.

Prize Pool Distribution

TEC BGMI Invitational Season 4 is hosting a sizable prize pool of INR 15,00,000 which will be split only between the top four BGMI teams, along with an individual prize for the MVP (Most Valuable Player) of this tournament.
