SAXA vowed to do better with Bren Esports in the upcoming matches of the MPL PH Season 9.

One of Bren Esports’ latest amateur standouts, Kenneth “SAXA” Fedelin, shared how grateful he was for finally competing in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Philippines (PH). Saxa is a former member of ArkAngel, a team known for being one of the most dominant teams in the MLBB Esports scene that never made it out of the qualifiers stage of the MPL PH (before it became a franchise league). The pro player aims to do better in the upcoming matches and vowed to not waste the opportunity of playing under the Bren Esports banner for the MPL PH Season 9.

Saxa finally achieved his dream of competing in the MPL

During the first week of the MPL season, Bren Esports had a huge upset against the superteam of ECHO. Spearheaded by some of the MPL PH’s finest pro players such as the former Bren Esports star player Karl “KarlTzy” Nepomuceno, ECHO managed to deliver a clean sweep victory against Bren Esports.

Despite losing its first match of the MPL PH Season 9, Bren Esports’ amateur standout, SAXA, expressed his excitement at finally stepping foot into one of the biggest esports events in the MLBB Esports scene. This was revealed through a post match press conference, shortly after the match between Bren Esports and ECHO.

“I’m so happy right now because Bren Esports recruited me. We’ve played three times in the qualifiers but failed to get in,” said SAXA.

The promising rookie began his career under Ignite Esports during the MPL PH Season 5 where they dominated the main qualifiers up until the team lost to GOSU in the qualifiers’ grand finals.

Saxa continued his career under ArkAngel where he and his team fought valiantly for two seasons but could never manage to secure a slot for the MPL regular Season 6 and Season 7. The MPL then switched to a franchise league, completely locking his team from joining the pro scene as it would require a franchise slot.

It was not until the pre-season of the MPL PH Season 9 that Bren Esports offered SAXA a chance to join the big league as a replacement for its star player, KarlTzy who went on to join ECHO.

Now that SAXA has finally achieved his goal of joining the MPL esports scene, he stands determined to return the favor to Bren Esports who made his dream a reality.

“I was thinking, I want to give my best. I’ll do better in the succeeding matches,” he said.

Bren Esports will have a chance to redeem itself in the second week of the MPL PH Season 9 as they shall face off against ONIC Esports and Nexplay EVOS.
