RSG PH announced that its team’s gold laner, Christian “Iy4knu” Manaog will be taking a short break and will miss out on the upcoming Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Philippines (PH) Season 9. The organization also assured fans that the pro player is still part of RSG PH and will be returning to the pro scene for season 10. Ly4knu is known as the “Kingslayer” and was a former member of ONIC PH before he transitioned over to RSG PH during MPL PH Season 8. The team was shortly eliminated in the first round of the playoffs stage after losing against Nexplay EVOS.

Ly4knu is taking a break from the Mobile Legends esports scene for one season

One of the veteran Mobile Legends pro players, Christian “Iy4knu” Manaog, will be taking a short break from the esports scene, as announced by RSG PH in its official social media handles. However, the pro player will not be leaving the team and will return to the main roster for the MPL PH Season 10.

“He is still part of RSG Philippines but will be inactive. RSG respects this and fully supports his decision,” captioned RSG PH.

While the fans will not be seeing the Kingslayer in action for the MPL PH Season 9, RSG PH on the other hand has been busy forming its new roster for the upcoming season. Fans may be seeing a lot of new faces when the full roster is finally revealed. In the meantime, fans will have to keep their eyes peeled for upcoming updates.

RSG PH debuted during the MPL PH Season 8 where it finished in sixth place in the regular season. The team had an early exit after being eliminated in the first round of the playoffs stage. Despite this, the team has impressed its fans through varied drafting and teamfight strategies with the help of its head coach Brian “Panda” Lim.

It will be interesting to see who will be the new faces of RSG PH for the upcoming MPL PH Season 9.
