RSG Philippines (PH) has parted ways with its veteran EXP Laner Kenneth “Kenji” Villa. The pro player was a part of the original squad when it debuted back in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Philippines (PH) Season 8. However, the pro player rarely played as he served as a substitute player for Nathanael “Nathzz” Estrologo, RSG PH’s main EXP Laner. Kenji is known to have a few championship titles in his name like the 2019 Southeast Asia (SEA) Games and an MPL PH Season 9 championship title. RSG PH is yet to officially reveal its roster for the upcoming MPL PH Season 11.

RSG PH bid farewell to its EXP Laner Kenji

Through a Facebook post, one of the powerhouse teams in the Philippines, RSG PH, announced the departure of its substitute player Kenji.

“You’re one of the pillars of MLBB here in the Philippines and the strongest bond that held RSG PH together. It’s sad to say but we need to say to everyone that Kenji is departing from its roster this Season 11,” wrote the esports organization.

“You have inspired a lot including your younger brothers within RSG. Good luck and we wish you success in your future, this is not our last GGRSG Kenji,” the statement ended.

Kenji is one of the seasoned players in the MLBB esports scene in the Philippines. The pro player has been competing since MPL PH Season 1 and even competed in the 2019 SEA Games where he represented the PH region and bagged a Gold Medal.

RSG PH is yet to officially announce its revamped roster for the upcoming MPL PH Season 11. However, there are several rumors that Nexplay EVOS' Ken "Kzen" Pile and John "H2wo" Salonga may be joining the team for the upcoming league season. Fans will have to keep their eyes peeled for more updates in the future.
