The rumor suggests that RRQ will soon expand its organization by having a Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) division in Brazil (BR). The team may be acquiring the pro players of the recently disbanded team, Keyd Stars for the upcoming Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) BR Season 2. He added that a huge announcement will be revealed at a later date.

RRQ CEO teases fans with an upcoming mysterious announcement

While Indonesian teams are focusing on the MPL ID Season 9, rumors have started spreading that one of the powerhouse organizations in Indonesia, RRQ, may be expanding to Brazil for the upcoming MPL BR Season 2.

The rumor started making the rounds after OBUFF, a Brazilian esports news page, made a post saying that the former Keyd Stars squad may be acquired by RRQ to participate in the upcoming season.

The former Keyd Stars squad is widely known for participating in last year’s M3 World Championship. The team finished 8th place after losing against the Filipino team, Blacklist International in the lower bracket playoffs.

After its esports journey in the M3 World Championship, Keyd Stars disbanded its MLBB roster and released its pro players.

The CEO of RRQ gave his response regarding the rumors. Through an interview by emak_moba, an esports news page, RRQ AP said that fans should look forward to a huge announcement from the esports organization soon.

“What about RRQ Brazil? There will be an announcement in the next few days, but my position is management so I can't immediately confirm or deny it, but from RRQ, there will be a big announcement," he said.

While the RRQ CEO did not confirm the rumors to be true, it will be interesting to see what this big announcement shall be. Fans will have to keep their eyes peeled for updates as the organization will make its big announcement at a later date.
