India will be represented at the PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) 2021. PUBG Mobile has finally announced that a special direct invite has been reserved for an Indian team at the PMGC 2021, allowing a team to represent the country at this event. This is huge for the Indian PUBG Mobile/BGMI scene that has been on an exile from the PUBG Mobile competitive circuit since the game was banned within the country in September 2020.

A total of 16 teams will be competing at the PMGC 2021, which is scheduled to take place from 30th November 2021 to 23rd January 2022 across three different phases. Nine teams will make it through the eastern PMGC league, six teams will qualify from the western PMGC league, and the invited Indian team will be joining them.

Fans are speculating that the Indian invite could be awarded to the winners of Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2021. However, no additional information about the Indian direct invite has been provided by the organizers so far.
