Penta Invitational: Battlegrounds Mobile India Featuring INR 20L Prize Pool Revealed
Penta Esports and Loco are teaming for the Penta Invitational - Battlegrounds Mobile India tournament which will see 24 of the top Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) teams from the country compete in the tournament. The event will feature three groups of eight teams leading into an 18-team finals, with INR 20L ($26.22K USD) up for grabs. The tournament will take place from April 26th to May 25th and will be broadcast on multiple platforms including Loco, YouTube and Facebook.
Earlier in December, Penta hosted the ‘Penta Amateur League - BGMI’ which saw over 200 BGMI teams from across the country compete for the lion’s share of the INR 5L ($6.55K USD) total prize pool.
Unfortunately, since this is an invitational event, there will be no registrations for this tournament. However, Penta Esports is also running the Penta Collegiate League which will feature an INR 15L ($19.66K USD) prize pool. Registrations for Qualifier 1 for this tournament will be open till May 4th.

Penta Invitational: Battlegrounds Mobile India Format
Group Stages
The tournament will kick off with three groups of eight teams competing in a Round Robin format. All 24 teams will be ranked in a single leaderboard according to their performances in this phase.
Dates - April 26th, April 27th and May 3rd
Timings - 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM
Total number of maps daily - 5
Maps to be played daily - Erangel, Miramar, Sanhok, Miramar, Erangel
The top 16 teams in the leaderboard table will move forward to the finals.
Finals
The finals will see the top 16 teams compete against each other in 30 maps over the course of six days, following which the prize pool will be distributed to the top teams according to the final points table.
Dates - May 4th, May 10th, May 17th, May 18th, May 24th and May 25th
Timings - 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM
