Orangutan Gaming Enters BGMI Esports, Announces New Roster
A new BGMI roster has come together in hopes of dominating the circuit.
Indian esports organization, Orangutan Gaming has entered competitive Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) with a new roster. They announced the lineup earlier today on 10th September via its official Instagram handle, signing players from Team Coming Soon, who have been making a lot of noise in the BGMI esports scene over the last two months.
The team is being captained by former Fnatic India PUBG Mobile player, Ashish "Ash" Bhatnagar, as he transitions from a Support role to that of an IGL (In-game leader). Along with three other promising players and an experienced coach, Orangutan Gaming is looking to make it big within the BGMI circuit.
Orangutan Gaming steps into competitive BGMI with a new roster
Orangutan Gaming is a multi-faceted Indian organization which operates various esports teams, undertakes talent management, and is also associated with apparel business. Its esports division is currently operating rosters in Valorant, Free Fire, and BGMI as it looks to compete and win tournaments across the three titles.
Their recent entry into BGMI esports has created a lot of buzz as they sign a promising lineup consisting of the following players,
Ashish "Ash" Bhatnagar - IGL
Manoj "Believe" Kumar - Fragger
Shubham "Driger" Quiriyal - Fragger
Shivam "Fiction" Patel - Fragger
Vedang "Vedzz" Chavan - Coach
These players previously played BGMI under the banner of Team Coming Soon. Following their impressive performance in scrims against other top teams, they started making a name for themselves within the BGMI scene, attracting Orangutan Gaming and getting signed by them.

Talking about the players, almost everyone is familiar with Ash who has previously served in Fnatic India for about 16 months, playing the Support role. After the organization dropped its roster, Ash became a free agent and has now been picked by Orangutan as its IGL.
Believe has previously played for Team MYM and Enigma Gaming. He is well known for his impressive in-game fighting strategies and positioning, which can alter the outcomes during intense gunfights.
Driger is coming back to competitive mobile gaming after a break of about a year and a half. Known for being a hardworking player, Driger also has the experience of having played with big organizations like 7Sea and Enigma Gaming.
Fiction is the youngest player in the team who is known for his immense firepower, though a bit inexperienced he has the skill to go up against the best.
Vedzz, the team's coach, is really experienced as he is a former PUBG PC player who has played for international teams like Team Vitez (Malaysia) and Team Sakura (Australia). When it comes to coaching he has previously worked with Team Blitzkrieg XP and Team Marcos, while also being an analyst with Team Megastars.
Orangutan gaming has a good mix of talent, skill, and experience in its lineup. It will be interesting to see how the progress in the upcoming days. The organization is also currently hunting for a fifth member to join its BGMI lineup.
