The MSC 2022 is scheduled to kickoff on 11th June.
The tournament will be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and will feature 12 SEA MLBB teams competing for the championship title and the lion's share of the $300,000 USD prize pool.
Representatives for Laos, Vietnam, and Thailand will be selected through a regional qualifier tournament while the rest will be represented by the region's MPL champions and runner-ups.

The highly-anticipated Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) Southeast Asia Cup (MSC) 2022 has been officially announced. The upcoming tournament will be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia with a $300,000 USD prize pool. The tournament will kick off in June and will feature the best MLBB teams from the Southeast Asia (SEA) region competing for this year’s championship title. The MSC 2022 will be the fifth iteration of the annual SEA tournament. Last year’s championship title for the event was won by the Philippines team, Execration, now known as Omega Esports. Moonton is yet to confirm if the tournament will be held offline with a live audience or not.

MSC 2022 Tournament Format and Schedule

The tournament will start with the two-day group stage on 11th June. It will feature teams from Cambodia, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Singapore, Myanmar, Laos, Vietnam, and Thailand. A total of 12 teams will be competing in the MSC 2022.

Representatives for Laos, Vietnam, and Thailand will be selected through a regional qualifier tournament.

The group stage will have teams equally divided into four groups with three teams in each group. The champions of the Mobile Legends Professional League (MPL) for the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Cambodia will be seeded in each of the groups while the rest of the teams will be seeded randomly.

Matches will be played in a BO2 match with the top two teams from each group proceeding to the playoffs stage.

The playoffs stage is set to be held from 14th - 19th June. More details on the tournament’s format will be revealed at a later date.
