MPL Malaysia Receives Award for Country's Longest-Running Esports Tournament

The Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Malaysia (MY) has been awarded the title of the region’s longest-running professional esports tournament by the Malaysia Book of Records (MBOR). The tournament is currently celebrating its 10th season with the crowned champion earning a ticket to the prestigious M4 World Championship. MPL Malaysia will also be celebrating its achievement during the playoffs stage of the tournament. Additionally, the playoffs stage of MPL MY Season 10 will also be open to all audiences with amazing prizes awaiting the attendees. However, interested fans will need to register ahead of time in order to secure a seat at the venue.

MPL Malaysia celebrates its 10th season and the award for the longest-running esports event in the country

Through an Instagram post by the MBOR, MPL MY was awarded the title of the longest-running local professional esports tournament . 

“MPL MY, which is also known as Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League, has been running for 10 seasons. We can see that there’s tremendous growth in the Esports industry in Malaysia,” MBOR captioned.

To celebrate this impressive achievement, the MPL MY Season 10 will be having a special event in the playoffs stage. The tournament will also open its doors to a live audience and promises exciting prizes for fans who watch the matches live.

The MPL MY Season 10 playoffs will be held on Concourse Level G, Quill City Mall in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Attendance is free and no tickets will be sold. However, fans are required to register in advance if they wish to secure a seat and claim prizes in the venue.

How to register for  the MPL MY Season 10 playoffs live venue

Interested fans will only need to fill up a small Google Form. It is important to note that viewers are required to complete and provide all the necessary information in the form in order to secure a seat in the live venue and claim prizes.

Prizes can only be claimed when the attendee shows up at the live venue.

The MPL MY Season 10 features a total of 10 teams competing for the lion’s share of the $100,000 USD. Only the top eight teams will proceed to the playoffs where they will fight for the honor of representing Malaysia in the upcoming M4 World Championship.
