H2wo believes that RENEJAY's return to the squad has improved the team's performance in the MPL PH Season 8.
Nexplay EVOS started its first week without RENEJAY where they performed poorly.
When the star player finally joined the main lineup, the team managed to bag consecutive victories.

Nexplay EVOS’ (NXPE) jungler, John Paul “H2wo” Salonga believes that the return of one of the team’s core members, Renejay “RENEJAY” Barcarase improved the team’s performance significantly. The team suffered a losing streak during the first week of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Philippines (PH) Season 8. However, when RENEJAY started playing in the second week for Nexplay EVOS, the team started to gain its momentum. This is mainly due to RENEJAY’s impressive shot calling skills, as revealed by H2wo in the post-match interview in the MPL PH Season 8. With RENEJAY in the main lineup, NXPE continues to make wonders in the third week of the MPL PH season.

RENEJAY’s shot calling skills proves crucial in Nexplay EVOS’ success

NXPE started it’s run in the MPL PH Season 8 without its star player RENEJAY. The journey was rough for the team as they kept stacking losing streaks, despite it’s rookie Jhonwin “Hesa” Vergara showing impressive gameplays.

The status of the team improved when RENEJAY joined the main roster. The team took down Omega Esports in the second week with a score of 2-1, in favor of Nexplay EVOS. The team continued its victory march in the third week, when it defeated RSG with a clean sweep victory of 2-0.

H2wo revealed during a post-match interview that NXPE’s successful run is all thanks to RENEJAY’s amazing shot calling skills. The star player filled in the gap that the squad was missing which is team communication.

I think when RENEJAY joined the lineup, it changed our momentum,” stated H2wo. “We really lacked communication during week 1 with Hesa. We had a lot of errors and it looked like Hesa was the only one playing at that time.

The pro player added that when RENEJAY is in the team, he really communicates to the whole team. This allowed them to act accordingly and strategically.

Nexplay EVOS is scheduled to go against ECHO on the second day of the MPL PH Season 8 Week 3. It will be interesting to see if the team can keep its momentum going and eventually secure a spot in the playoffs.
