Galaxy Racer has announced two new rosters: one for PUBG Mobile in the Middle East, and one for Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) in India. The roster for BGMI was the organization's original BGMI roster that they had imported from India following the ban of the game. However, with the release of BGMI, GXR has brought back the team to their BGMI lineup. The new PUBG Mobile roster consists of tournament-winning veterans who previously played under the banner of FRAG Machines and Gunz Esports, winning multiple high-level tournaments such as the PMPL Arabia League 2021.

Galaxy Racer Reveals PUBG Mobile and BGMI Rosters.

Galaxy Racer’s new PUBG Mobile roster consists of the following:

Raouf “RAOUF” Abdellah

Maad Ali “HixYE” Ashkar,

Reshar “FREAK” Dawid,

Muslim Ahmed “Lord” Jawad, and

Mohammed “Hamody” Qassim.

This roster is one of the top teams in the Middle Eastern PUBG Mobile scene, previously playing under FRAG Machines with whom they have consistently placed in the top spots of multiple events and were champions in the PUBG Mobile Pro League- S1 2021: Arabia Finals. This new roster seems to be full of potential, it will be interesting to see how the team does in upcoming events.

Galaxy Racer also announced the return of their ex PUBG Mobile roster into BGMI, which consists of,

Harshit “MJ” Mahajan

Yogesh “RoXX” Yadav

Hemanth “Ultron” Sethi

Mohammed “Owais” Lakhani

Akash “MaxKasH” Anandani

The roster consists of star players from India such as MJ, RoXX, and Ultron, who previously played for Celtz, a championship-winning PUBG Mobile squad, and Owais and MaxKasH who were part of Fnatic India’s PUBG Mobile squad.

The roster was previously flown to Dubai to compete in the PMPL Arabia, after PUBG Mobile was banned in India last year. They did not find too much success after the move to the Middle East, hardly achieving top placing in any of the events they participated in. The roster now returns to India along with BGMI’s release.

The team will most likely be seen in the qualifiers for the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series qualifiers which are set to begin on 2nd Aug, 2021.

Who is Galaxy Racer?

Galaxy Racer is a Dubai-based esports organization with rosters in multiple esports titles such as League of Legends, Dota 2, CS:GO, Fortnite, Free Fire, and now a renewed BGMI roster and a brand new PUBG Mobile roster. While not having any major success under their belt as of now, GXR seems to be deeply committed to esports with the numerous rosters they have signed across esports titles.

More and more organizations seem to be investing in mobile esports, especially with the return of PUBG Mobile in India and the form of BGMI. Other organizations such as TSM.FTX have also announced their BGMI rosters and it seems like everyone is gearing up for the upcoming Battlegrounds Mobile India Series 2021 which will feature a 1 Crore prize pool.

BGMI continues to rise in popularity and it will be interesting to see how it will affect the development of Indian esports considering how big PUBG Mobile was in India before it got banned.
