BTK Victor Looks Forward to Meeting Omega Esports' Ch4knu in the Philippines

The team captain of BloodThirstyKings (BTK) Michael “MobaZane” Cosgun previously revealed that his whole squad would be traveling to the Philippines sometime in May. On a livestream, BTK’s pro player Victor (also known as Carti) revealed he is eager to meet Omega Esports’ (OMG) Roamer and Tank specialist Joshua "Ch4knu" Mangilog. Victor is also looking forward to meeting the whole squad of Blacklist International and ONIC PH but he is more excited to meet Ch4knu as he believes the star Roamer would be fun to hang out with. The BTK members also discussed trying out the most popular street food in the Philippines, Balut.

BTK Squad plans their trip to the Philippines

MobaZane reunited with his BTK squad in North America after spending a month in the Philippines (PH). As the team captain shared his adventures in the region, the topic of PH players using intriguing names for hero skills was discussed.

For convenience, some players use terms such as “Fast Run” for the battle spell Sprint, “No Monkey” for Claude’s Battle Mirror Image blink skill, and “No Bite” for Franco’s Blood Hunt ultimate skill. According to MobaZane, he learned these terms from OMG’s Ch4knu.

Amused by these terms, Victor’s curiosity about how PH players play the game grew as the squad laughed at how absurd the terms are. “[They’re] psychopaths over there... No bite? I can’t believe that,” Victor stated.

MobaZane echoed that he also didn’t get it at first either. “I think it was Ch4knu coming up with that weird [term],” he explained.

Victor jokingly responded that “Ch4knu might be God. I still can’t believe it, bro, I’m like pacing back and forth thinking about it.”

When MobaZane asked which PH pro player they would like to meet, Victor responded “My favorite player is Killuash [Ashley Marco Cruz]. But I think I’m excited to meet Ch4knu, bro.”

Shifting their focus to other PH teams, Victor shared he is also looking forward to meeting two of the most dominant teams of the M3 World Championships. “Of course, I’m excited to see the whole Blacklist [International] and ONIC [PH squad],” Victor said.

Victor talks about eating Balut

Shifting their discussion to the PH food and culture, Victor asked MobaZane about the popular street food in the region.

“Yo, what [is] Balut? Whatever that is. Why [are] people in chat telling me to try that thing?” Victor said.

MobaZane explained that it was a boiled Duck Fetus egg. Victor then responded that “I [would] rather eat human fetus than duck fetus.”

It will be interesting to see how the BTK squad may react to the PH culture and MLBB meta if or when they experience it firsthand.
