The team captain of the North American (NA) Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) esports team, BloodThistyKings (BTK), Michael "MobaZane" Cosgun, revealed that he received offers to join teams outside NA. After putting up an impressive feat at the M3 World Championship, where his team finished third place, MobaZane, through his livestream, expressed that he wants to pursue MLBB esports full-time. MobaZane wants to go full time as an MLBB Esports pro player

In a livestream, the team captain of BTK expressed his plans on being a full-time MLBB pro player while also revealing the problems that his team is facing. According to him, most of his teammates are barely online so he mostly plays alone and he is finding that to be problematic.

“The thing is, BTK just isn’t a full-time squad. But, I wanna be a full-time player,” stated MobaZane. “It’s so irritating.”

The pro player also expressed that if a team contacts him and offers him the chance to do MLBB esports full time, he wouldn’t hesitate to grab the opportunity. He added that he is also willing to travel to Indonesia and the Philippines if he needs to.

On a separate stream, he revealed that he has been receiving offers from other esports organizations outside NA. According to him, despite people spreading rumors that Bigetron Esports (BTR) is trying to buy him out, he said that he is yet to make contact with BTR.

“Any offers from teams from overseas? Yes, a few,” stated MobaZane. “I’m not joining any teams for certain in Asia but I have had a lot of offers.”

The pro player added that he plans to travel to Indonesia this February and play with teams and streamers in that region. He is also considering making a podcast while he is in Indonesia.

“I hope I could stay at one of their gaming houses, that’d be so nice,” stated MobaZane.

BTK’s rise in popularity

NA’s MLBB esports team, BTK, made history at the M3 World Championship as one of the strongest underdog teams in the tournament. The team was only able to finish third place in the tournament, but its unexpected cinderella run grabbed the attention of the MLBB fans, as BTK managed to send the M3 World Champions, Blacklist International down to the lower bracket during the first round of the playoffs stage.

The team is composed of four American players Ian "FwydChickn" Hohl, Michael "MobaZane" Cosgun, Huy, Victor, SHARK, and one player from the Philippines, ZIA. BTK currently does not have an organization and is playing as an independent team.

The existence of BTK in the MLBB esports scene proves that underdog regions such as North America have their own pool of promising pro players that simply need a platform where they get a chance to shine.
