One of the biggest esports organizations in the Philippines, Blacklist International, will be fielding a League of Legends: Wild Rift team soon. This was revealed through a vlog by its Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Tryke Gutierrez. While Blacklist International is yet to scout for potential pro players to field its Wild Rift roster, Tryke revealed that it will be announced sometime this year. Blacklist International’s Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) team is currently the reigning champion of the M3 World Championship, MLBB’s world series. Blacklist International will be the second major esports organization in the Philippines to announce its entry into the Wild Rift esports scene this year.

Blacklist International’s Wild Rift team to be announced within this year

In a recent vlog which featured a photoshoot for Blacklist International’s team along with showcasing its trophies acquired across its career as an esports organization, the co-owner dropped a huge revelation for the Wild Rift community.

According to the co-owners - Tryke Gutierrez and Alodia Gosiengfiao, Blacklist International is currently preparing to field its own Wild Rift team. Alodia states it has been her dream to have a Wild Rift team.

“Blacklist Wild Rift team, oh my god,” said Alodia. “It’s been my dream for a long time.”

Tryke also said that Alodia has been nagging him to build a Wild Rift team.

“For me, if my dream is DOTA (team), she has been nagging me about a Blacklist Wild Rift team,” he said. “This year, it’s happening.”

Tryke further added that they will be partnering with another organization for its Wild Rift team. However, he still can’t reveal more details until the time is right.

“This is something the community has been waiting for. Let’s see what happens and who will be our team. We’re don’t have a team just yet, for the record, what we’re saying is we’re going to have a team this year,” he said.

Blacklist International’s Wild Rift team may not be from the Philippines region

According to the Wild Rift caster and courtside reporter, Yuuko Ishikawa, the new Blacklist International team may not be from the Philippines.

"You saw the posts, now.... do you know which region?" Yuuko captioned.

Fans speculate that it will be a Vietnamese team. However, this is yet to be confirmed by Blacklist International itself.

Tier One Entertainment, the esports entertainment agency that owns Blacklist International is the second major esports organization to announce its entry into the Wild Rift esports scene. The first one was Team Pacquiao GG who announced its squad, Team Underground featuring the former roster of Amihan Esports.

Considering how dominant Blacklist International is in the MLBB esports scene, it will be interesting to see how its Wild Rift squad will fare against the dominant teams of the Wild Rift esports scene.
