Z4pnu Reveals Potential SEA Games 2021 MLBB Roster

Execration’s Billy “Z4pnu” Alfonso has revealed a potential Mobile Legends: Bang Bang team roster for the upcoming Southeast Asian Games 2021. In one of his vlogs, he stated that a meeting with Bren Esports coach Francis “Duckeyyy” Glindro was held last Monday, May 17, where they discussed a rumored shortlist of players for the upcoming annual event. Then Z4pnu discussed the candidates for the SEA Games 2021 roster, including Nexplay Esports' H2wo, Execration's Ch4knu, Aura PH's Bennyqt, and others. Z4pnu Reveals Potential SEA Games 2021 MLBB Roster

In a recent vlog by Execration’s veteran player Billy “Z4pnu” Alfonso, the pro player talked about the potential candidates for the Mobile Legends team that will represent the Philippines in the upcoming SEA Games 2021.

Z4pnu stated that he had a meeting with Bren Esports coach Francis “Duckeyyy” Glindro on May 17, where they talked about the plans and team roster for the upcoming 2021 SEA Games.

The pro player added that he is quite confident that Nexplay Esports’ John Paul “H2wo” Salonga will be enlisted as the team’s mid-laner. H2wo currently ranks as the player with the most kill count with 180 total kills over the course of the regular season. He also wanted Duane “Kelra ” Pillas to be a part of the team, but due to age restrictions, Kelra can’t be a candidate as he is only 16 years old. 

In the roaming role, Execration’s Joshua “Ch4knu” Mangilog and Bren Esports’ Allan “Lusty” Castromayor were the potential candidates. However, Z4pnu confidently states that Ch4knu will have a higher chance of being chosen as the team’s roaming player.

Z4pnu also added that Aura PH's Benedict “Bennyqt” Gonzales may be chosen for the Gold Lane, Execration's Renz “Renzio” Cadua for the Exp Lane, and Bren Esports’ Angelo Kyle “Pheww” Arcangel as the team’s support.

At the end of the video, Z4pnu explained why he thinks Danerie James “Wise” Del Rosario will not be included in the team roster. He explained that Wise needs Johnmar “OhMyV33nus” Villaluna in order to succeed in his role. Wise also lacks flexibility since he is more comfortable with the marksman role and barely anything else.

“If you include Wise, you also need to include the queen (OhMyV33nus), they were always a pair,” stated Z4pnu.

During the 2019 Southeast Asian Games, the Philippines dominated the Mobile Legends Esports category and earned the gold medal. It would be interesting to see if the new team roster can also grab the gold medal for this year’s event.
