Apex Legends Mobile is Now Available For Select Users in India

Apex Legends Mobile is now available to download for a select few users in India. The Closed Beta of the game will release in the Philippines in May 2021. Respawn Entertainment’s mobile port of their popular Battle Royale PC game, Apex Legends Mobile is currently in early access and will initially only be available for Android devices across two regions. iOS users will have to keep their eyes peeled for updates in the future.

Apex Legends Mobile Early Access now available in India

Apex Legends Mobile is currently in its early access and will only be available for Android users in India. As the testing phase continues, more regions and devices will be granted access to the game. 

“We’ll be steadily rolling out Apex Legends Mobile around the world in a series of tests. To start with, we’ll do a series of smaller closed beta tests in India and the Philippines,” The devs stated in their blog post.

Select players from India can now access and download the game from the Apex Legends Mobile Google Play store page. However, only android devices with Android 9.0 and at least 4GB RAM will be able to download the game in the Google Play store. The devs will only allow a limited number of players to gain access to the game for the closed beta testing. However, pre-registered players will eventually gain access to the game as the beta testing continues.

“We're keeping things small to start—just a few thousand players in India and the Philippines—but over the course of this year we're planning to roll the game out to more regions and more players around the world,” stated the devs.

Apex Legends Mobile Closed Beta Release Date in the Philippines

Respawn Entertainment has confirmed that the Apex Legends Mobile Closed Beta will come to The Philippines later in May 2021.

Apex Legends Mobile Apk and OBB Files “Should Not Be Sideloaded”

Players hoping to download the game to their devices by using third-party APK+OBB files are in for a surprise. Apex Legends has confirmed that the game will only be available on Google Play Store during their testing period. They specifically mentioned that “the game should not be sideloaded through a third party site or direct APK download.”

What is Apex Legends Mobile?

Apex Legends Mobile is a mobile port of Respawn Entertainment’s popular free-to-play hero battle royale game of the same name. It was released for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One in February 2019 and for Nintendo Switch in March 2021. The mobile port has recently been launched for beta testing in India, allowing a limited number of players to access the game.
