Wild Rift Spark Invitational 2021: Teams, Schedule, Format, Where to Watch

Riot Games China has officially announced League of Legends (LoL): Wild Rift Spark Invitational 2021. The tournament will feature 16 teams who are not part of the League of Legends Professional League (LPL), competing for the honor of representing China in the upcoming Wild Rift Worlds Championship 2021. The Wild Rift Spark Invitational 2021 is scheduled to kick off with the group stage on 17th August leading to the playoffs stage on 23rd Aug 2021. The prize pool for the tournament is yet to be revealed. Wild Rift Spark Invitational 2021 details

The rising mobile MOBA title is off to a good start with its first official esports tournament in China scheduled to take place on 17th Aug 2021. The tournament will feature 16 non-LPL teams competing for a slot in the upcoming Wild Rift World Championship 2021. The top two teams will also secure a slot in the soon to be revealed Chinese League Qualifier.

Tournament Format and Schedule

Group Stage (17th - 22nd Aug 2021)

The Wild Rift Spark Invitational 2021 will start with the group stage. The 16 participating teams will be divided equally into four groups and will compete in a BO3 round robin format. The top two teams for each group will proceed to the playoffs.

Playoffs (23rd - 28th Aug 2021)

The top eight teams from the group stage will compete in a BO6 single-elimination format. The champion will represent China in the Wild Rift Worlds Championship 2021. The top two teams will also secure a slot in the upcoming Chinese League Qualifier.
