League of Legends: Wild Rift’s Horizon Cup 2021, one of the most prestigious events in the mobile MOBA title, will officially kick off on 13th Nov 2021. The first-ever global esports event for the mobile MOBA title will feature the top 10 teams from around the world compete for the title of World Champions and the lion’s share of the $500,000 USD prize pool. The Wild Rift Horizon Cup 2021 will be held at a physical location in Singapore. This year’s international esports event will serve as a warm-up pre-season event before the first season of the Wild Rift esports scene officially starts next year.

Wild Rift Horizon Cup 2021 Participating Teams

The esports event will feature the top 10 teams which qualified from various regional qualifiers all over the world. Additionally, the tournament will be broadcasted live for all the fans to stream in multiple languages.

Here are the participating teams and their respective groups in the Horizon Cup 2021;

Wild Rift Horizon Cup 2021 Tournament Format and Schedule

Group Stage (13th November - 17th Nov 2021)

  • The 10 participating teams are split into two groups of 5 teams each.

  • Single round-robin format

  • All matches are played in a BO3 series.

  • The top 3 teams from each group will advance to the playoffs.

  • Group winners will be seeded to the Semifinals.

Knockout Stage/ Playoffs (19th November - 21st Nov 2021)

  • Single elimination format.

  • Quarterfinals and Semifinals will be played in a BO5 series.

  • Grand finals will be played in a BO7 series
