The PUBG Mobile Pro League (PMPL) South Asia Spring 2022: League is all set to take place from 29th March onwards for the next four weeks.
Each week will comprise the regular weekly matches and the super weekend matches. The final super weekend matches will be played as PMPL South Asia Spring 2022: Finals.

The PUBG Mobile Pro League (PMPL) - South Asia Spring 2022 is all set to start 29th March onwards with the 'League Stage' of the tournament. A total of 20 PUBG Mobile teams from the South Asian region will be competing in this event featuring a total prize pool of $150,000 USD (INR 1,14,25,005).

Out of the 20 participating teams, eight have made their way through the qualifier while the remaining 12 have been directly invited for the tournament. These South Asian teams will be giving it their best as the top teams have an opportunity to qualify for South Asia Spring Championship and PMPL - South Asia Fall 2022.

The league stage of the tournament will be taking place across four weeks, starting tomorrow onwards from 29th March, consisting of both regular (three weeks) and super weekend matches (four weekends).

Here are the complete details for the participating teams, format being followed, schedule of the entire event, and all other information about the upcoming PMPL SA Spring 2022: League.

A total of 20 PUBG Mobile teams from the South Asia region will be competing in the league stage, eight of them make their way through the qualifiers while the remaining teams received a direct invite.

PMPL South Asia Spring 2022 - Teams

Schedule

The PMPL SA Spring 2022: League will be taking place from 29th March and concluding around 24th April as per information received via the official press release.

The regular matches will be taking place during the weekdays on Tuesday and Wednesday every week. The schedule for the regular matches based on this information is as follows,

  • Week 1 - 29th to 30th March

  • Week 2 - 5th to 6th April

  • Week 3 - 12th to 13th April

Every regular week will culminate with a super weekend which will take place on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday every week. The schedule for the super weekend matches based on this information is as follows,

  • Super Weekend 1 - 1st to 3rd April

  • Super Weekend 2 - 8th to 10th April

  • Super Weekend 3 - 15th to 17th April

  • Super Weekend 4 - 22nd to 24th April (PMPL SA Spring 2022: Finals)

Format

The regular week matches played every Tuesday and Wednesday will decide which teams get to compete in that week's Super Weekend matches.

For the regular week matches, the 20 participating teams have been divided into five groups of four teams each. The groups are as follows,

Only the points accumulated during the Super Weekend matches will be tallied and counted towards the PMPL SA Spring 2022: Finals points table. This makes it important for the competing PUBG Mobile teams to play well across both the regular weekly matches and the super weekend faceoff.

The regular week matches will be following a round-robin format where each participating team will be playing a total of eight matches in a week. Those that manage to qualify for super weekend will be following a single-lobby format playing a total of 15 matches in a week, five games every day.

The fourth super weekend will be acting as the PUBG Mobile Pro League: South Asia Spring 2022: Final and after accumulating all the scores from the various super weekend matches a points table will be formed through which the South Asian PUBG Mobile champion will be crowned.
