The highly-anticipated Call of Duty (COD): Mobile World Championship 2021 is finally ready for its grand kick-off in December 2021. The sixteen participating teams from all over the world have been finalized and are now preparing to compete for the title of COD Mobile World Champions and the lion’s share of the $2 million USD prize pool. These teams have proven themselves through regional qualifiers, granting themselves a ticket to the most prestigious COD Mobile esports event of the year. Considering last year’s international event was canceled, the participating teams are now hungry for the championship title in the COD Mobile World Championship 2021.

COD Mobile World Championship 2021 details

The major event to close this year’s COD Mobile esports journey, the COD Mobile World Championship 2021, will feature 16 teams competing for the title of World Champions and the lion’s share of the $2 million USD prize pool.

The tournament initially started back in June 2021 with various regional qualifiers hosted for regions across the world. According to the official Weibo page of COD Mobile, the main event is set for a grand kick-off in December 2021. However, Activision is yet to reveal the exact date of the COD Mobile World Championship 2021.

Due to COVID-19 concerns, Activision canceled last year’s international esports event. The grand prize pool of $750,000 USD was equally distributed to the eight qualified teams. No one was able to win the championship title last year which makes this year’s COD Mobile World Championship 2021 all the more worthwhile for all the participating teams.
