All Random Ultra Rapid Fire (ARURF) mode is a recurring game mode in League of Legends and is a more chaotic version of the original Ultra Rapid Fire mode.
The game mode is fast-paced and allows players to spam abilities and spells since they have low cooldowns.
Riot Games announced that ARURF would return to League of Legends on 26th Jan during the 2022 Lunar Revel event.

ARURF or All Random Ultra Rapid Fire mode is a featured game mode in League of Legends. It is part of a set of rotating game modes and is played on Summoner’s Rift. The game mode allows players to spam their abilities and the matches usually last around 20 minutes or less. ARURF is a more chaotic version of the original Ultra Rapid Fire (URF) mode as it randomly chooses champions.

While starting a game of ARURF, players will see that they are granted a buff called the “Awesome Buff of Awesomely Awesome Buffing.” In this game mode, speed is key. Also, champions’ spells and abilities have very low cooldowns and are backed by the never-ending supply of mana.

It has been quite some time since ARURF was made available to players and Riot Games announced that ARURF would make its comeback today on 26th Jan along with the other Lunar Revel events mentioned in Patch 12.2.

The Lunar Revel event is also in full moon swing this week! Celebrate the Year of the Tiger with us with special events including the return of ARURF, exciting missions (with reduced points requirements), and beautiful new Porcelain, Firecracker, and Prestige skins. Happy Lunar New Year!”

Effects of the ARURF buff

The Awesome Buff of Awesomely Awesome Buffing brings forth a ton of changes to the way League of Legends is played. This includes increased haste, a statistic that represents cooldown reduction in the game for champions’ abilities, summoner spells like flash and teleport, and items. The game mode also buffs tenacity, movement speed, and attack speed. When minions die players get a chunk of gold irrespective of whether the player last hits the minions. Additionally, last hitting a minion grants more gold.

Another fun aspect of the game is that a cannon is placed outside each team's fountain for friendly champions to use. Jumping inside the cannon allows the players to launch themselves to a target location of their choice.

Changes to ARURF in Season 2022

As ARURF is set to return to League of Legends in Patch 12.2, the game developers have reduced the cooldowns of the two new runes that were introduced to the game during the 2022 pre-season. The Glacial Augment and First Strike runes will be available in the game mode this season.

Glacial Augment creates three frosty paths that slow down enemy units whenever a player immobilizes them. First Strike allows players to gain additional gold and deal bonus damage.

Fun is the name of the game in ARURF. The game mode returns to the rift today on 26th Jan. Players while waiting for ARURF should warm up and get ready to spam Q, W, E, and R keys.
