The highly awaited VCT Masters Copenhagen 2022 is finally upon us with 12 of the finest Valorant teams from all over the world competing for a total prize pool of $650,000 USD (INR 5,16,66,225).
It is scheduled to take place from 10th to 24th July, the semifinals and grand finals of the tournament set to take place in front of a live audience at the Forum Copenhagen, which has a capacity of 8,500 spectators when seated and 10,000 spectators when standing.

Valorant Masters Copenhagen 2022: Complete Details
The VCT 2022: Stage 2 Masters - Copenhagen is the second global event by Riot Games that is part of the current Valorant Champions Tour. It follows VCT Masters Reykjavik which took place in April earlier this year, with the North American esports organization OpTic Gaming walking away as the champions.

A total of 12 qualified Valorant teams will be competing in this tournament, each one of them making its way through their own regional qualifiers like:
EMEA Challengers (Europe, the Middle East and Africa), NA Challengers (North America), APAC Challengers (Asia-Pacific), LATAM Challengers (Latin America), Korea Challengers, Japan Challengers, and Brazil Challengers.

Format
The VCT Masters Copenhagen 2022 comprises of two stages, group stage and playoffs. Here is how they will be played out by all the competing teams,
Group Stage
The tournament's group stage will witness eight of the 12 competing teams being split into two groups of four teams each.
Both these groups will be following a double-elimination bracket where all matches will feature a best-of-three series.
The top two teams from both the groups will advance to the playoffs, where they will be joining four other pre-qualified teams.
Playoffs
Once again a total of eight teams will go against each other following a double-elimination bracket, with all matches featuring a best-of-three series except for the lower bracket final and grand final, both of them highlighting a best-of-five decider.
The last four matches of the playoffs will be played in front of a live audience at the Forum Copenhagen, which is a multi-purpose indoor arena in Frederiksberg, Denmark.
The final team that remains standings at the end will be crowned as the champions of the VCT 2022 Stage 2, while also receiving a lion's share of the total prize pool.
Prize Pool
The total prize pool of $650,000 USD (INR 5,16,66,225) will be split between all the 12 competing teams that managed to qualify for the VCT Masters Copenhagen 2022.
Additionally, VCT 2022 Circuit Points will also be distributed amongst all the participating teams. The value of both, circuit points and prize money, will depend on the overall placement of teams.
VCT Masters Copenhagen 2022 will be played offline, the group stage and part of the playoffs taking place in a studio environment followed by the top four teams playing in front of a live audience in Copenhagen, Denmark.
