Highlights
Dep delivers a record-breaking performance for taking the most kills in a single map on LAN during ZETA DIVISION vs RRQ at VCT 2023 Pacific LCQ.
Dep secured a total of 42 kills in 40 rounds on the last map Ascent which went into several overtimes before concluding in favor of ZETA DIVISION.
The previous record holder was Monyet from Global Esports for taking 39 kills in 32 rounds against DRX at VCT 2023 Pacific League.

The best-of-three match between ZETA DIVISION (ZETA) and Rex Regum Qeon (RRQ) in the VCT 2023 Pacific Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ) came to a thrilling end, going down to the final map which concluded after 40 rounds of non-stop action.

ZETA DIVISION did manage to come out on top but the struggle was real with the last map, Ascent, going into multiple overtimes, after both teams had already managed to attain victory on their respective maps, Haven (RRQ) and Split (ZETA).

Despite the stress and fatigue, Yuma "Dep" Hashimoto from ZETA delivered his absolute best, dropping 42 kills to break the LAN record for registering the most kills on a single map.

The upper bracket semifinals between ZETA and RRQ at the Valorant Champions Tour (VCT) 2023 Pacific LCQ will go down as one of the most nail-biting series. It was a high-stakes encounter with the winner advancing to the upper bracket final and the loser going down to the lower bracket semifinal.

RRQ started the proceedings by wining its map pick Haven with a dominant 13-2 scoreline. The team stopped ZETA division with some flawless reads and holds to sweep the game. It seemed as if it would run away with the series but the final outcome was far from it.

ZETA bounced back by winning its map pick Split with a comfortable 13-8 score line to prove that it was prepared and ready to fight. ZETA started slow with only a two-round lead in the first half but accelerated in the second half to push through with ease.

The final map on Ascent is where none of the teams were ready to give up, both showcasing a good defense to push the game into overtime which then came to an end after 40 rounds, in favor of ZETA.

Before that it was David "xffero" Monangin who had held this record while playing for BOOM Esports against OpTic Gaming during the Valorant Champions 2022, securing 38 kills in 34 rounds.
