Valorant Masters 2 is Set to Take Place in Copenhagen from 24 July

Riot Games announced that the next two LAN events will take place in Denmark and Turkey. The best teams from each region’s Stage 2 Challengers events will meet in Copenhagen, which will play host to the second Masters event of the season. The event will take place from 10th to 24th July and it will feature twelve teams competing for VCT points, prize money, and glory.

Valorant Champions will take place in Istanbul Turkey

Once Stage Two comes to a close, players will be locked in for the second Valorant world championship. Valorant Champions Tour will close out the 2022 season in Istanbul this year with the world championship. Valorant Champions is the end-of-year final, assembling the top sixteen teams from around the world to compete for the title of ‘Valorant World Champion’.

The event will take place from 2nd to 18th September with ten teams who will qualify through their performance during the regular season and six through the Last Chance Qualifiers that will take place in August.

More information about the upcoming event will be available in the coming weeks. Teams are currently participating in open qualifiers and Challengers events to qualify for Valorant Masters Copenhagen.

OpTic Gaming won the first Valorant Masters event of 2022 and the team will be defending its position as the top team in the world in July. Last year, Europe and Brazil dominated the international circuit and we could have a new region come out on top. Latin America and Brazil were overlooked in 2021 by fans and both regions pulled off some astonishing performances. Acend and KRU Esports stole the spotlight from North American and European heavyweights at the event.

The only region that is yet to leave a mark is Southeast Asia. Paper Rex, which is arguably the region’s best team, was unable to compete due to COVID restrictions preventing them from traveling to the world championship. This year we have teams from Oceania also competing from the Asia-Pacific region as well as some new teams like XERXIA that have been dominating the scene. It could be APAC’s time to shine as we get closer to Masters 2 and Champions.
