Valorant Champions Tour's APAC Challengers event is set to kick off next month featuring 20 of the best teams in the Asia-Pacific region.
20 teams will compete for the top two spots, which will earn them a spot at Valorant Champions Tour Stage One Masters.
The event will feature teams from South Asia, Southeast Asia, Hong Kong and Oceania.

Valorant Champions Tour is underway in full swing and teams from the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region are all set to compete in the first Challengers event of 2022. The event will feature 20 of the best teams who made it to the event via their respective regional qualifiers. The event will kick off on 10th March and the grand final is set to take place on 27th March, with two teams earning a slot for Stage 1 Masters.

Valorant Champions Tour APAC Challengers 1 Format

Play-Ins (Top 20): The event will kick off with the play-ins stage featuring two double-elimination groups with four teams each. The eight low seed teams will compete in GSL groups and only four of them will head to the group stage.

Group Stage (Top 16): There will be four double-elimination groups featuring four teams each. Two teams from each group will advance to the playoffs.

Playoffs (Top Eight): Eight teams will compete in double-elimination brackets to make it to the grand final. Both finalists will secure a spot at Stage One Masters but the winner will receive more Valorant Circuit Points and a bigger share of the prize pool.

All matches at the event will be decided in a best-of-three series with the grand final set to be a best-of-five matchup.

Valorant Champions Tour APAC Challengers 1 Schedule

The event will commence on 10th March 2022 and conclude on 27th March 2022. The play-ins will take place on 10th and 11th March after which the group stage schedule will be decided.

The prize pool of the event is yet to be announced by Riot Games.

The matches will be officially streamed on Twitch and YouTube. Official Valorant watch parties will also be hosted by popular content creators and community members. Watch parties will be announced by the respective creators closer to the release date.
