A huge opportunity has been bestowed upon Rainbow Six Siege teams from South Asia and the Middle East regions with The Esports Club coming forward to organize quite a sizable event considering that the title has little to no presence in India.

Here is everything you need to know about this tournament which is currently underway and will be taking place across a period of two weeks.

Invited Teams

A total of eight teams have been invited for this tournament from across South Asia and the Middle East. These teams have been divided into two groups with four teams each.

Group A

  • Geekay Esports

  • Take Charge Esports

  • Shaheens

  • Triple Esports

Group B

  • 25 Esports

  • Nobles

  • Mercenariez

  • Kira Esports

Schedule

The tournament is scheduled to take place over the course of almost two weeks from 10th to 22nd January. It will start with the Group Stage and will be followed by the Playoffs, finally coming to an end with the Grand Finals.

Format

  • In the Group Stage all participants will be divided into two groups of four teams each, following a round-robin format where every match will be a best-of-three series.

  • The top two teams from each group will qualify for the Playoffs which will follow a double-elimination format where every match will be a best-of-three series.

  • The final two teams will move on to face each other in the Grand Finals which will feature a best-of-five series.

  • The winner will walk away as the champion while also pocketing the lion's share of the total prize pool.

Prize Pool

The Zotac Gaming TEC Rainbow Six Siege Invitational will be featuring a total prize pool of $10,000 USD.

It is not a huge amount but considering the reach of this title it is still a significant sum and it will be divided between the four teams that manage to qualify for the Playoffs, based on their overall standings.

  • 1st Place - $5,000

  • 2nd Place - $2,500

  • 3rd place - $1,500

  • 4th Place - $1,000

Livestream

The tournament will be broadcasted live across multiple streaming platforms like Loco, YouTube, and Twitch in two languages - English and Arabic, as the event contains teams from both these regions.

It will be interesting to see how this invitational Rainbow Six Siege tournament plays out between the two regions and hopefully we get to witness more such events from TEC throughout the 2023 competitive season.
