Team Secret Teases Entry Into Valorant Esports
Another esports organization is ready to compete in Valorant.
Update: Team Secret has announced its new Valorant lineup featuring ex-Bren Esports players. Their new lineup is:

Jayvee "DubsteP" Paguirigan
Jim "BORKUM" Timbreza
Kevin "Dispenser" Te
Riley "witz" Go
Gilbert "Gibo" Sales Jr. (Coach)
European esports organization Team Secret is ready to step into competitive Valorant, announcing its arrival with a teaser video released earlier today on 8th September. Not a lot was revealed through the teaser with the organization stating "Are you ready?" followed by "A new secret is here". They went on to showcase a lineup of Valorant agents including Astra, Skye, Jett, Sova, and Killjoy but did not give any other clue.
The organization is popularly known for fielding a strong European Dota 2 roster led by Clement "Puppey" Ivanov. Apart from this, Team Secret also fields lineups across other esports titles like Rainbow Six Siege, League of Legends, Wild Rift, and PUBG Mobile.
Team Secret has teased its entry into competitive Valorant
Team Secret has been teasing an entry into Valorant since late 2020. There was a lot of buzz back then that the European organization might soon be picking up a roster, but the hype fizzled out. Until earlier today, as the organization released a teaser that has taken the Valorant community by surprise.
In December 2020, John Yao - CEO of Team Secret while answering whether the organization would be interested in competitive Valorant at some point in time, had responded by saying that,
Yeah, I think so. I think the game competitively is very good and the eco-system is good, like I said there is visibility into it. There seems to be a lot of players that are migrating into Valorant. Also, from a business end of things Valorant is a little bit more attractive than CS:GO, because CS:GO is a really hard sell for a lot of sponsors.John Yao - CEO of Team Secret
This was followed by social media tease every now and then, but nothing concrete seemed to have materialised out of it. Now, with the VCT Masters 3 nearing its end, Team Secret has decided to jump ship as they dropped a teaser trailed just a few hours back.
Team Secret operates multiple esports lineups belonging to different regions, makes it hard to pin point accurately from which region would they be picking up their Valorant roster.
Their Dota 2 and Raibow Six Siege teams are made up of a mixed European lineup, the League of Legend team is based out of Vietnam, while the two mobile esports teams for Wild Rift and PUBG Mobile are from the Philippines and Malaysia, respectively.
It will be interesting to see from which region does Team Secret decide to compete in Valorant, as they have a presence in both Europe and Southeast Asia, giving them the flexibility required to jump into the circuit right away.
