Rocket League Sideswipe Is Now Available in All Regions

Rocket League’s mobile version ‘Rocket League Sideswipe’ is now available in all regions. Developer Psyonix started the global rollout on 16th November 2021 with Oceania being the first region to receive the game. The game is now available in all regions globally and can be downloaded from the Apple Store and Play Store.

Rocket League Sideswipe Overview

Rocket League Sideswipe is a new mobile-only title that brings the Rocket League experience from PC and console to mobile users. The new game features the same gameplay but in a 2D environment. Despite the shift from 3D to 2D, the game retains the same complex mechanics and requires proper timing to juggle the ball around and score some nasty goals against your opponent.

The game features arcade-style action that is optimized for touch controls. It will come with the option to play private matches and it has a ranked system similar to the original Rocket League. Players will be able to climb through the ranks.

It is a free-to-play title with 1v1 and 2v2 game modes as well as a Hoops mode which resembles basketball. The game is currently in the pre-season and it will lead up to Season 1 with limited-time content. The game is likely to be monetized with cosmetics and battle passes.

If you link your Epic Games account with your Psyonix/Rocket League ID, you will gain a temporary XP boost. With the game now being out in all regions, players can expect crossover events between Rocket League and Sideswipe next month.

Players can download Rocket League Sideswipe via the following links on Android and iOS. The App Store or Play Store page may not have a download option if the game is not yet available in your region. You can add it to your wishlist instead and you will be notified once Sideswipe is available in your country.
