Riot Games just revealed the details for the Asia-Pacific (APAC) Challenger event that will take place in June 2022. Eight of the top teams in each subregion will compete for slots at the event with a total of 10 teams making it to the playoffs. South Asia and Oceania will have their own qualifier events hosted by Skyesports and Let’s Play Live respectively.

Valorant Champions Tour APAC Challengers Overview

The eight teams in each region will begin by going through a series of single round-robin matches where two teams will be eliminated. The remaining six teams will then fight through a series of double elimination brackets. Then, depending on which market they come from, the top teams will be assigned a select number of slots at the upcoming Challengers APAC Stage 2 Playoffs in June.

The Challengers APAC Stage 2 Playoffs give the region’s top teams a chance to be invited to Masters 2, the Valorant Champions Tour’s (VCT) second and final global tournament of the year.
