PSG Talon announced that it has parted ways with both Bay and Juhan right after MSI 2022.
The two South Korean players were signed by PSG Talon in December 2021 and were let go on 1st June 2022.

The Pacific Championship Series (PCS) representative, PSG Talon (PSG) attended the Mid-Season Invitational (MSI) 2022 in Busan, Korea, and made it to the Rumble Stage of the tournament. It has now announced major roster changes ahead of the Summer Split via its social media.

On 1st June, PSG Talon tweeted a photo from Game of Thrones which read, “Brace yourselves, something big is coming.” The following day, PSG revealed that it has parted ways with its mid-laner Park "Bay" Jun-byeong and jungler Lee "Juhan" Ju-han. Both players played with the team in the MSI 2022 tournament.

It tweeted, “As of today, we have parted ways with Bay and Juhan. Thank you both for all the hard work this Spring and MSI. We as the PSG FAM wish you all the best for everything going forward. *Pending Riot approval.

PSG Talon rejigs its roster

PSG Talon defeated G2 Esports not once but twice at the MSI 2022 but still failed to make it to the Knockouts of the tournament. It was PSG who began G2’s loss streak which was seemingly long. PSG Talon has won the PCS title three times and is all set to undergo another revamp of its roster despite winning the Spring split with a dominant 16-2 record. This could be attributed to the fact that the team did not find as much success at this international tournament and the team is looking to rebuild itself with stronger players.

Notably, according to Fandom, on 7th February, the team extended the contracts of Bay and Juhan on the Global Contract Database to expire on 21st November 2024. However, now the team has bid farewell to these young Korean players.

After announcing the departure of its mid-jungle duo, the team has yet to reveal its new jungler and mid-laner for the summer season.

Additionally, both Juhan and Bay were previously a part of the Nongshim RedForce Challengers and were signed to PSG Talon in December 2021.

Last year, PSG Talon had an incredible performance both in its region and on the international stage at MSI 2021. The team made it to the top four at MSI and also took a game off of Royal Never Give Up (RNG). Following this, PSG lost two of its best players Huang “Maple” Yi-Tang and Kim “River” Dong-woo, who were eventually replaced. Both Maple and River have found themselves playing for North America in Team SoloMid (TSM) and Dignitas, respectively. It will be interesting to see who the PSG Talon squad decides to pick before the Summer split starts.
