Players to Watch Out for at TEC Challenger Series #6

The Esports Clubs’ (TEC) Challenger Series #6 event commences today (17th December) with some of the best teams from Southeast Asia and South Asia going up against each other. Eight teams from the two regions will be competing for a prize pool of INR 15,00,000 ($20,000) over the coming week. If you will be following the event, here are some of the best players that you need to keep an eye out for.

5. Bhavin "HellrangeR" Kotwani - Global Esports

HellrangeR is one of the best Indian players and is currently a core member of Global Esports. He is a retired CS:GO professional who switched over to Valorant and hasn't looked back since. He has delivered solid performances in both national and international events.

The player was instrumental in Global Esports’ recent success in the Valorant Champions Tour 2021 season. He helped his team make it to the Asia Pacific (APAC) Last Chance Qualifiers (LCQ) after winning the Valorant Conqueror’s Championship qualifier event. He has mastered a diverse pool of agents and consistently delivers results regardless of the agent he is playing.

4. Delbert "Del.B" Tanoto - Alter Ego

Del.B was one of the best players at the recently concluded TEC Showdown Valorant event. Despite being one of the newest members of the roster, he has left an impact and is someone any Alter Ego (AE) fan should keep an eye out for.

At the previous The Esports Club Showdown Valorant, he was one of the best players at the event with solid performances against Global Esports and Bleed Esports. AE coach Andi "Sleepy" Andana Bangasawan, told AFK Gaming, “Since joining AE (Alter Ego), he’s become such a monster equal to the best of duelists here in APAC (Asia-Pacific).”

3. Muhammad "soulM8" Usman - Team Exploit

SoulM8 is a former CS:GO pro who plays for Pakistan’s Team Exploit. While the South Asian region has been overlooked by many, the region does possess some solid performers.

Soulm8 was lethal against Weird Esports during the TEC Challenger Series #6 regional qualifiers and will be looking to shine in the upcoming event. He is equally competent on Viper and Killjoy and has helped his team maintain a 70% winrate in competitive matches so far.

2. Frizky "FrizzNatsz" Satyawarman - MORPH Team

FrizzNatsz is a former member of the Alter Ego roster and may go up against his old team at the TEC Challenger Series event. He is one of the most consistent players in Southeast Asia with appearances at First Strike Indonesia, Valorant Champions Tour 2021’s Challengers events and more.

This is one of his first appearances after leaving Alter Ego and it will be interesting to see how he fares against other top teams from the region. Since his arrival at MORPH, he has been performing very well with an average K/D of 1.71, well above most pro players at even the highest levels.

1. Ganesh "SkRossi" Gangadhar - Global Esports

SkRossi is one of the best duelists in Asia and he was able to keep up with some of the best rosters across the region including DAMWON Gaming and F4Q. He has consistently ended events in South Asia and Southeast Asia as one of the top performers and TEC Challenger Series #6 is unlikely to be any different given his consistency.

If he keeps his form up, he just might be ready to become an international Valorant star. He has maintained a very high average K/D of 1.28 and manages to secure kills in high pressure situations. His presence is felt internationally and even Sentinels IGL (In-Game Leader) Shahzeb 'ShahZam' Khan has heard of his Jett play.
