Lando Norris’ Esports Org Quadrant Enters Rocket League Championship SeriesLondo
Formula 1 driver Lando Norris’ esports organization Quadrant signed a Rocket League roster on 14th October ahead of the upcoming Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS). The organization acquired the Rocket League roster of Goldbridge Ball. With this, Quadrant continues to expand its presence in esports circuits after having recently become a partnered team in the Halo Championship Series (HCS) this year. The twelfth season of the RLCS features three splits - Fall, Winter, and Spring. The European Regional for RLCS 2022-23 - Fall kicked off on 14th October and will conclude on 16th October.
Lando Norris talks about entering Rocket League Esports
In the announcement video that Quadrant posted on its social media channels, Quadrant Founder and CEO Lando Norris talked about wanting to venture into Rocket League for a while now. He said, “I finally have a roster that we can go and attack with, we can go straight into the majors with and their previous name was Goldbridge Ball.”
According to Games Press, Lando Norris said, “Competition is in our DNA, so it’s going to be awesome to see how we compete on the big stage, and it all starts today with the Fall Open.” The outlet also stated that Quadrant’s Chief Gaming Officer Jamie MacLaurin talked about building momentum within its esports program and that signing this Rocket League roster was a big statement for the organization. He reportedly added, “Rocket League is an esport we have admired for a long time, and we know will resonate well with our fan base. This all-British lineup is full of star quality and we look forward to an exciting season with them ahead."
The Quadrant’s RLCS 2022-23 roster is as follows:

Quadrant is one of the sixteen teams in the European Regional Fall Open. After having played five rounds already, Quadrant is now placed seventh in the standings. In the first round, Quadrant lost to Moist Esports with a 3-1 scoreline and was pushed to Round 2 Low Matches where it picked up the rhythm. It won against Evil Geniuses and lost to G1 in the Round 3 Mid Matches. Following this, Quadrant was once again pushed to the lower bracket of Round 4 where it picked up a win against Solary. Notably, Round 5 also went in favor of the British squad as it took down Aogiri. The team will now take on Team BDS in the Quarterfinals which is scheduled to take place today on 15th October and fans can catch the game live on Twitch.
