The Death Prospector camo is a golden cosmetic that can be unlocked by completing the Storing Bodies challenge.

Season four of Call of Duty Warzone is live and Activision also released a special event to commemorate the new season and the changes to Caldera. The Mercenaries of Fortune event will run from 22nd June to 6th July and players can complete eight challenges to reap rewards and the Death Prospector camo is one of them. Apart from the eight separate rewards, finishing all the challenges will grant the players the ultra-rarity Armored SUV vehicle skin, “The Vault”

Some of the challenges involve playing matches on the new map, visiting Caldera’s new point of interest (POI) - Storage Town, and getting kills or assists while riding in the new Armored SUV vehicle.

Here’s how one can unlock the golden Death Prospector camo in Call of Duty Warzone Season 4 in the Mercenaries of Fortune event.

The Storing Bodies challenge is pretty straightforward as it requires players to collect 100 kills at Storage Town on Caldera Island and this will unlock the new Death Prospector camo as a challenge reward.

Storage Town was previously on the Verdansk map which players found as the go-to place for fast and intense battles. With the new Season 4 update for Warzone, the point-of-interest (POI) has returned on Caldera.

How to unlock the Death Prospector camo through Warzone Golden Plunder?

Golden Plunder is the new limited-time mode that was introduced with the Warzone Pacific Season 4 update. It is an interesting take on the classic Plunder game mode and it matches the new season’s luxury and gold theme. This game mode will be the perfect way to complete the Storing Bodies challenge since players can quickly pick up kills and respawn back into action.

In this game mode respawns are enabled and players will attempt to end the game with the most cash in the lobby. Getting kills on enemies will drop cash and therefore getting as many kills will increase the chances of earning more cash. Another new update is that the player count in Golden Plunder has been increased from 100 to 120 and this should increase the amount of action we see across the map.

Since respawns are enabled, players can quickly jump into a game of Golden Plunder and go to Storage Town and pick up the kills to increase their progress in the Storing Bodies challenge.

One major thing to remember is that when you are queuing up for a game of Golden Plunder, make sure that your party is on “Don’t Fill” to ensure that you and your teammates spawn in and around Storage Point and that random players don’t spawn elsewhere on the map. Just downing enemies will not count towards the kills needed for this challenge, so players will have to eliminate the enemy for it to count towards the 100 kills on the Storing Bodies challenge.
