How to Complete the Bloodhound Apex Chronicles Event in Apex Legends

Respawn Entertainment launched its first Apex Chronicles event last week and players now have access to the “Old Ways, New Dawn” event. While these story quests are not full-fledged single player missions, they add a layer of storytelling to expand Apex Legends’ lore. Players need to complete certain objectives during matches to earn the associated rewards.

The community is not happy with how Respawn has introduced the quest. Players have to go out of their way to complete the objectives and the first Apex Chronicles event requires you to go to specific locations. It is recommended to do the quest with friends. It is not exactly ideal to queue with random players who may get inconvenienced unless of course, they want to tag along with you to complete the event. Here is everything you need to know about the ongoing event and how you can earn the Apex Chronicles rewards.

How to complete the Bloodhound Apex Chronicles event

If you load into the game, you will notice that there is an ongoing quest which says “Old Ways, New Dawn”. Completing the quest will allow you to earn Bloodhound-themed Apex packs as well as battle pass stars for the current season. If you want to earn the rewards you need to find the White Raven in Apex Legends.

Pre-requisites to complete the Apex Chronicles event:

• Players need to manually start the White Raven’s Prologue from the menu

• You need to queue into a battle royale match in World’s Edge

• The event is available only in unranked games in the Duos and Trios modes

From the main menu, click on the Old Ways event banner and just hit “Start” to initiate the quest. You will now be able to access the quest. All you need to do is locate “The White Raven” which is located on the southern side of Lava Siphon. The raven is perched on a rock and it sticks out from a distance. Simply interact with the raven and you will be able to follow the instructions and complete the event.

If you die while doing the event, you can simply interact with the raven again next game and it will continue from the last checkpoint. Once completed, you will earn yourself battle pass levels and Bloodhound-themed Apex packs. The event ends on 3^rd October, 2021 and you need to complete it by this weekend if you want to earn the event-exclusive rewards.
