Swedish player Jacob "pyth" Mourujärvi has joined Southeast Asian team Bleed Esports after being a part of G2 Esports for over a year. Pyth is a former Counter-Strike: Global Offensive player known for his time with Ninjas in Pyjamas. He was the first CS:GO player to relocate to North America and is now the first European Valorant player to move to Southeast Asia.

Pyth was one of the most successful European players during year one of Valorant

After joining G2 Esports, pyth was very successful with the original G2 Valorant roster. Some of his achievements include first-place finishes at Twitch Rivals: Valorant Launch Showdown, Red Bull Home Ground 2020, G2 Esports European Brawl, WePlay! Invitational 2020, BLAST Twitch Invitational, and more. He won nine events with G2 Esports and helped his team reach top four in First Strike Europe, which was the biggest European Valorant event of 2020.

After G2 Esports had a disappointing start to the Valorant Champions Tour in 2021, Wassim "keloqz" Cista was brought in to replace pyth who remained inactive from April to November 2021. The European organization released pyth from his contract on 13th November 2021 after which Bleed Esports signed the player.

Bleed Esports has also signed Max "maxie" Lönnström

In an effort to solidify its roster Bleed Esports has also signed Max "maxie" Lönnström, a retired CS:GO player. Maxie has competed with teams like Denial Esports and HASSeLsNOk in the past. Pyth and maxie are headed to Southeast Asia to compete in Valorant Champions Tour 2022 which is set to commence in January 2022.

Bleed Esports is based in Singapore and it has recently participated in events like the KJC Esports Invitational and The Esports Club Showdown. The team is currently participating in the Bleed Esports Christmas Showdown which features other prominent teams like Global Esports, Velocity Gaming, and TODAK.
